First of all, they don't even deserve this one star. Long story short we bought some furniture for our new house. And we did financing for that and we were told to pay the amount that we owe within six months with no interest fair enough. As a first time buyer we had no idea how this financing works and were hoping to get assistance in this. The first mistake they did even we told them we moved to new address still they didn't change it on the documents for financing (which they didn't give it to us) because of that we were unable to receive any letters for that. Does it even make sense that we bought a new house and we are buying furniture for that but we need our letters to be sent to old address. Anyways, after that we given a yellow colored paper stating that this is invoice which was not even professional and were told to bring it to make the payment before the due date. Nobody told us who we were financed with and how this process works. After that we went home and were expecting the delivery of furniture on time which was late by total of four weeks which is fine and we didn't mind of that. It was 20 days remaining for our due and we went there and brought unprofessional invoice paper in which everything was written with black lead pencil not even a printed paper and were ready to make the payment. And think what, they told us we are not gonna take the money because you were financed with the company which we didn't even know. After a lot of argument, they wrote a card number on a piece of paper and told us to go to bank to make payment and bank refused to do that because there was no proper documentation. Rather than helping us in that situation then there came a KAREN - i don't want to use this word but have to because that lady insulted my father and my brother stating that we are stupid. Rather than helping us they told us not to come there anymore. Because of these STUPID people we lost our three days of work just finding where and whom we have to make the payment. Somehow spending hours and hours we were able to sort out the things by ourselves. THIS WAS ONE OF OUR WORST EXPERINCE WHICH ME AND MY FAMILY HAD IN OUR LIFE. THANKS FOR YOUR WORST...

Read moreBought a $1600 maplewood bed frame (made in canada) from Stephen Furniture. The manager Paul had sold it to us. It took 3.5 weeks for it to arrive. Day of arrival- service was quick but delivery guys left the garbage from setting up the bedset here. The bedframe itself has a very strong gas smell. Called spoke to the manager Paul - he had advised the smell of gas is normal because of the finishing on the wood, and to air it out, it will take a couple days. The smell is very bad and is causing headaches and vomiting, called back again, explained the situation, again Paul said he can't do anything about it and it needs to be aired out,asked to talk to Jasbir (the boss of stephen furniture) Paul had said he would be coming into the office at 2:30 and will get back to us. Never did, called again, and our calls are being ignored. (FYI- they have caller ID). Poor customer service and resolution skills. We have been a long time customer of theirs and can not believe the lack of customer service skills. Our next step is to file a consumer complaint and getting in touch with bbb.
