A trio of friends and I had the great pleasure of spending a few hours at this wonderful space yesterday! Warm, friendly, informative staff coupled with wonderful and unique food offerings from condiments to grass fed meats, sauces, cheeses, breads and much much more, as well as the dish ware and serving pieces and accessories to make a pretty table, make it a must visit for anyone planning to be in the Brighton area. The Tasting Lounge comfortably furnished with luxurious sofas and chairs in intimate groupings, also has comfortable hi tops and chairs if you prefer table dining. We enjoyed brilliant charcuterie, making our own personal choices from a broad offering of selections for our individual boards and paired with generous pours of excellent wine, both at unbelievably reasonable prices! The acoustics in the room are like being at home in your living room, amazingly supporting both the music and easy, private conversation, AND they spin vinyl on a rich sound system! So we had a fabulous time with Supertramp and Steely Dan as background serenade. We can't wait to go back to one of their evenings of live music with superb performers. They sell out fast but we managed to grab two tickets for and October event! The owners, Scott and Jen are visionaries. Northumberland Fine Foods exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The charcuterie was absolutely delicious, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality meats, cheeses, and accompaniments. One of the highlights was being able to customize the board with selected items, which made the experience feel personal and unique.

What really sets this place apart is that everything sampled on the charcuterie is available for purchase in their beautiful, well-organized store. It’s a fantastic way to discover new favorites and bring a bit of the experience home.

The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and very inviting. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and more than happy to answer questions or offer pairing suggestions. You can tell they love what they do, and it shines through in every interaction.

We visited Northumberland Fine Foods on Saturday night to catch a friend playing live music, and it ended up being so much more than just a night out — it was a truly special experience.

From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their genuine kindness and warmth added so much to the atmosphere and made the whole evening feel personal and memorable.

The venue itself is unlike anything else — a beautifully decorated, intimate space with amazing ambience. It feels thoughtfully curated, like every detail has been chosen to elevate your experience.

The tasting menu was a highlight too, full of rich, unique flavours, with good drink pairings, and reasonably priced. You can tell this place isn’t about volume or chasing profit — it’s about crafting moments and delivering something special to every guest.
