Smokehouse Tap & Grill! — Restaurant in Brighton

Right from the moment we walked in and stood waiting for a server to seat us or greet us we knew this was going to be a horrible experience. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service skills. We were here for 20 minutes with no drinks still and a waitress who says she’s the owner with a giant attitude. We placed our drink orders and patiently waited for the server to bring us our drinks and watched our drinks sit on the counter while she went table to table cleaning up and chatting and serving drinks to the 5 other people in the restaurant. After a few minutes and I POLITELY asked if we could please get our drinks. When the “ owner “ came to the table with not even the drinks we asked , because ma’am we asked for 4 waters and you brought one .. she threw the coasters for our drinks at us and demanded I order right then. When my girlfriend asked if the “ owner “ was being rude to me the owner replied back I don’t know are you being rude. We weren’t being rude what so ever , we had kids to get from school so we couldn’t wait another half an hour just to be served drinks. We’re so disappointed as we really wanted to try this place out but with the experience we had we will NEVER be back and I’ll make sure I post our experience on every review platform I can. You CAN NOT treat people this way. If 5 people in a restaurant is too many people for you to handle please consider hiring more staff because how we were treated today and the response time to when we entered to when we ALMOST got our drinks was just totally...

Attended an event in Brighton and stopped in for a quick bite and beverage. First impression right at the entrance was a whole bunch of smokers; it's not a huge area but had at least 6/7 people all smoking and it reeked! - I'm not a rabid ex-smoker by any stretch but this was a real turn off and they really should consider moving the big ashtray/smoking area away from the front door. We ordered the 10 wing appetizer and a couple of pints, server came back from the kitchen to say that they were out of cajun seasoning so we'd need to order a different flavour; I make my own cajun seasoning as does almost every home cook I know - it's 9 different spices mixed together - Google is your friend! Good sized wings though and unbreaded which is always appreciated. It was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon and obviously popular with the local crowd. We noticed that there was mould on the bread served to us on a club sandwich partway through the meal. Brought it to the attention of the lady working and she said "we are lucky" because we got the only mouldy piece in the whole bag (I hope she threw the rest of the bread in the trash). She then proceeded to charge us for the mouldy sandwich and take one beer off our tab. I told her, no and that she should comp the meal and we would pay for the beers. She was full of attitude and sarcasticly started to the say since that I make the decision around here should she charge us for the fries that came with the meal. I said comp the meal again and we paid for the beers which we were fine with in the first place.

Overall, terrible service, and terrible food. I don't even think they actually have a smoker to make it a smokehouse. It seemed like the sever was high...
