Pink Canary — Local services in Burlington

We visited Pink Canary back in 2022 when they were still at Vaughan Mills, and I am so thankful we did. At the time, we were searching for a second prom dress after a disappointing online order. We had bought a tulle gown from BCBG that cost over $800, but it ended up being very unflattering, and due to international duties and fees, we could not return it. We were feeling stressed and discouraged, but all of that changed the moment we walked into Pink Canary.

Laura, the owner, helped us personally. She was so kind, welcoming, and clearly very experienced. She immediately understood what would flatter my daughter’s body type and style. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping young women feel beautiful and confident. Her sense of fashion is amazing, and she made the entire experience feel comfortable and special. My daughter felt at ease and truly supported.

She ended up choosing a beautiful blush pink dress from the brand Maniju. I do not believe the exact style is online anymore, but it may still be available in store. The dress was absolutely perfect. It was elegant, flattering, and incredibly versatile. It cost around $200 and the quality was outstanding. It looked far more expensive than it was and fit my daughter perfectly.

She wore it to prom and received so many compliments. Since then, she has worn it to weddings as a guest, to a school formal, and to other special events. This dress is timeless and so easy to style for different occasions. It still looks as beautiful today as it did the day she bought it, and it remains one of her favorite pieces in her closet.

What also stood out to us was how many unique and stylish pieces the boutique carried. Pink Canary has so many boutique-style clothes that you would typically find in high-end stores for double or even triple the price. Their pieces are trendy, well-made, and very affordable, especially if you want to look fashionable without spending a fortune. It truly is a hidden gem.

Although we no longer live nearby, we really miss having Pink Canary close to home. My daughter left her own review a while ago, but I wanted to share my experience too because it meant so much to both of us. We are now preparing for her university graduation, and without question, we will be making the drive from Toronto to Burlington to visit Pink Canary again. That is how much we value this boutique and the incredible care Laura puts into what she does.

I have seen a few mixed reviews, and while every experience is different, ours was nothing but positive. Laura treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine care. She helped us turn a difficult situation into a moment of joy and confidence. My daughter left that day glowing, and that is something I will always remember.

If you are looking for a beautiful dress or trendy clothing that is affordable, stylish, and unique, I truly recommend Pink Canary. We are already looking forward to coming...

If I could give more stars I would! I discovered this store in Burlington last Wednesday with my husband and fell in love with almost everything there…it was hard to choose and I definitely bought far more than I had planned, not just because of the one of a kind pieces, luxurious fabrics and extremely fair prices, but because the store associate gave THE BEST service I have ever experienced! She was incredibly kind, personable and frankly great at her job! She went way above and beyond to help me, first noticing it was my second visit to the store within the hour and helped me pick out items that worked well for my style in flattering colors, keeping in mind my comfort zone. Quite simply, if you’re looking for a store manager or someone to outfit models with your fashion, PICK HER! I’ve since worn the 2 piece top and skirt she picked for me which I might not have given a second look and felt like a million bucks with it on. I’m not from Burlington but this store will definitely be worth a trip any day if you’re looking for some new fashion - I will be back again for sure!! Hello to the manager or the boss who sees it I just want to say I deserve a apology because I came on Boxing Day and there was this blonde girl just wearing a black shirt and dark blue jeans. I asked her for a dress and she had she showed me the dress and she had to look at my body and be like yeah you look like a medium like I feel so body shamed and I try to kept on going to my sister and she kept on coming back and I didn't feel comfortable, so I just wanted to say like, no one should feel like this especially whatever they're wearing.
