Sugarfina — Local services in Burnaby

I'm a repeat customer who's happy with the unique candies (despite the price), excellent service, and welcoming environment from this store.

Every time I swing by, the staff greet me with a smile, offer me a candy sample, and make sure that they're always available when I need help without giving me a frown or an attitude, nor uttering, "I don't know" if they're unsure (they try their best to find someone who has the answer).

And despite their luxury image, I certainly can't recall them profiling me based on my attire (it screams, "I buy my candy from the dollar store!"). Instead, they treat me with more respect than I deserve. They take me seriously as a customer and value my time, which they best demonstrated when I asked about buying candy in quantities greater than their large cubes (they immediately grabbed their manager for this) and the state of Kyoto Blossoms in Canadian Sugarfinas. It's awesome and I can barely get that from the Nordstrom Sugarfina, and to some extent, most other candy stores.

The price is on the high end, although they offer sampler packs and large cubes, and discounts on holiday candy cubes to make things cheaper (Your mileage may vary). But to make up for the price, the candy is more flavourful and unique than their mass-marketed counterparts.

Note that they have fewer options when compared to their American retail counterparts, but they're working hard to bring in new items every...

Having just returned from Sugarfina Metropolis with my daughter, I HAD TO review this fantastic company. These are NOT simply "gummies in fancy boxes." These are carefully artisan crafted delicacies beautifully packaged for display. The flavours in these products are best enjoyed when slowly savoured-not gobbled and chewed down like popcorn, lol. I walked out with about 10 BAGS FULL of custom gifts for teachers and special people in our life. The staff today was simply outstanding, the young Gentleman who assisted us went ABOVE and BEYOND for us (even knowing we weren't looking at prices, he suggested some incredible ways to save a TON by purchasing packages or discounted items to create the same gift at a huge savings. He even carried our bags for us to the car, we had about 30lbs of candy all together. I expected to spend upwards of $1500 and we left having only spent around $500 with many extras and fun products to try. We even got a large candy trunk for our home theatre with the savings. I can't say enough about the amazing and courteous service we received here today! Well done, Sugarfina! Give this man a raise/promotion!! I'm sad I neglected to get his name, he deserves full kudos for his service today, his colleague's name is Precious, I believe....

I love this store and I like most of the candies sold in the store. There is a guy who usually works there with a long hair, I don’t know his name. He is very nice and I rate his customer service 💯 % excellent. However, I went to store on Oct 31 and I received an unpleasant customer service. I was buying some of the candies were on sale for 30% off and some regular price. The lady in the store, did not say anything about other sale going on in the store. When I paid for the candies. I noticed there is a section that the candies were on sale for 70% and 50%. I asked her oh, those candies are on sale? And she said yes but they are expiring in two days. I just went and checked myself and I noticed that just one of them is expiring in Nov1 and the other ones are expiring on Nov 12 and Jan. I asked her if I can exchange the one I just bought with the ones which are on sales and she said No. So I had to buy those one as well. It was very disappointing and I didn’t not like the service. It was not like usual service I get...
