Harvey's Confectionery — Local services in Calgary

I was very disappointed today, I always was saying ,people always are helping people,if somebody is asking for a help ,nobody can't pass and not help. Today ,I was walking around Heritage park. As a human being ,I was looking for a washroom...everything was closed, except this place Harvey's. I asked very nice to go to the washroom...what I got back ....sorry our policy is not allowing go people to go to our washroom... Doesn't matter ,how are you feeling , how old are you , what your medical history .... just go away ... First time ,I fased this situation.... very sad ...doesn't matter how your place is good and fancier, just being a human ....people need people just...

I went in with my child to buy ice cream, we chose chocolate and my daughter chose bright orange, pointing with her hand. The seller didn't even say that it was ice cream with a lot of hot pepper. Why don't you teach salespeople to communicate with customers, they just stand there like dug-in pillars. You also have a failed ice cream display case design. In those buckets, it is simply not visible and it is not convenient. Also, you should at least put a name with a brief description of the contents next to each bucket. At the checkout, the girl was polite and smiling. But the daughter was left without ice cream...

When I first went in here, they told me they made root beer floats the old fashioned way - with their specialty syrup and soda water. I was very excited, so I came back later to try one, however a different person made my float with regular Mug root beer from the fountain, even after I questioned him about it. It was mediocre, and I was pretty disappointed considering the extremely high price.

I really want to like this place, but I feel they've still got some kinks to work out. Great location and...
