The pizza was fantastic. The whole experience was exceptional from the ease of ordering online to pick-up. I really appreciated the text confirmation & how simple it was to locate the food truck in the alley 🇮🇹. Our pizzas were ready right on time. I was a couple of minutes early which gave me an opportunity to admire the spotless food truck, have a peek at the lovely garden (recent home to the arugula on our pizza) & to take in the aroma of fresh pizza, baked w/ ❤️ What could be better on a sunny Saturday? We are very glad we ordered prosciutto & garden-fresh arugula pizza and a house special. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal tonight and a tasty couple of slices for the morning too. We really appreciate the outdoor pick-up, friendly, family vibe & of course the outstanding pizza. As pick-up/ take-out/ curbside enthusiasts we are glad we (finally) made Savino Pizzeria a Saturday evening stop. Until next time, Grazie. ...

My only complaint about this place is that it's not a restaurant. I'd LOVE sitting down and eating these amazing pies right out of the oven. I live a bit far away and by the time I got home they weren't as hot anymore.

Regardless, all the reviews saying it's the best in pizza in Calgary, are right. Impecable taste, perfect dough. It's worth every penny.

Service was really nice. You need to order ahead for pickup through their website as this is a food truck in a back alley. I arrived exactly at the time the order said it was gonna be ready and indeed they were taking them out of the oven and placing them in the boxes.

If you like Nutella you HAVE to try the Nutella flat bread. Incredible. Next time I'll try to find a place nearby where I can park and eat right away!

If reviews had sound effects, this would be the “mmmm” on every bite.

This is 100% the best pizza I’ve had (sorry NYC and Chicago).

I’m normally drawn to more toppings, which are typically necessary because there is no flavour.

This pizza has the same incredible taste on the last bite as the first, and the toppings and sauce are perfectly balanced: not too heavy, not too light.

Every mouthful is not only incredibly flavourful but also slightly different. And the ingredients allow the nuances to shine.

It doesn’t need more toppings. It’s perfect just as it is.

The crust is a standout, so I don’t think it would matter which menu selection you make, as this pizza crust makes the pie.
