Read moreFound this hidden gem a while ago, but finally got around to trying it. Needed some desserts for a family event so popped in to see what they had. Roughly $40 later walked out with some strawberry shortcake, 2 Kreme Pitas and an small individual cheesecake. Along with a Cheese and a spinach Burek fresh out of the oven - impossible to resist. Have to say the desserts were light fluffy and not overly sweet which was a good thing as you could taste the flavours. The Burek were gone quickly and complimented each other well - crisp pastry and plenty of filling in both. Young man behind the counter was very polite and helpful in explaining the different items…Full credit for service. Return? Absolutely even just to try the other...

I am not sure why but I expected to find an area where you could sit. Well, no, it’s takeout only and it’s a very small shop just FYI. I took different things and really enjoyed their Nutella bread (it’s so simple but good!), their pretzel tasted like a brioche and their berek (fresh out of the oven) was sooooo flaky and hot. Maybe a bit expensive overall but what isn’t in 2024? I didn’t try their chevapi but looks like you can also buy them frozen.
Update: went back to order their chevapi and it’s HUGE. You can feed 2 people for $16.99 (or $15.99 I can’t remember). It was also really good. My favorite berek is probably the cheese one. The meat one is ok but quality of the beef is really...
