Kept — Local services in Dartmouth

We heard a lot about Kept from not only locals in Halifax and Dartmouth but also from tiktok before coming. Obviously, our standards were pretty high before going. Before I review, I'd just like to say that no shade to any of the employees. They were all lovely and sweet. My issue is that, I bought a ring from there. I wear rings and collect them as momentoes, so when I buy one as a souvenir, I want it to last. These rings only come off for showers. I asked, and was told that the silver ring was sterling, and that the gold ones were plated. The silver ring I bought turned my finger green within hours. I'm honestly shocked for two reasons, one being the fact that either the establishment made a mistake or that they figure it's ok to win pennies from tourists. Either way, this ring won't serve as the lasting memory it was meant to be. Just normal souvenir shop. There are many of them in the city with +/- the same products, but it doesn't mean that it's bad. It's a very good choice if you are somewhere near that place, but I can't advice to go from another part of city here in hope to find something that you didn't find in another such place.
