What a lovely little place!! We were greeted with a kind smile and warm welcome upon entering even though they were quite packed, and it was just one sweet young woman!

The menu is perfectly designed, and I can tell they put a lot of love into their food. We ordered quite quickly and the service was so fast! I highly recommend the Japanese style fried chicken. It is absolutely delicious. I ordered the bibimbap with kimchi, and my partner ordered the yaki soba with chicken. We were both in awe of all the flavors... Do you know when food is just so good for the soul?! 😆 I also ordered the homemade matcha cheesecake for dessert, and I was yet again amazed, so soft, and the perfect amount of matcha!!!! Definitely coming again, I never tip more than 15-18%, but I tipped 20%...

Not what we were expecting when wanted to eat ramen. Got the Miso ramen and the Tantanmen ramen and started with the Aji fish fry.

The Aji fish fry was good. The sauce and breading a decent combo.

Then we get to the main reason why we were here: the ramen. The first impression of the miso broth was very spicy and I couldn't taste the miso. The Tantanmen wasn't as spicy and there was a strong sesame flavor. Though the broth wasn't as good, the noodles were chewy, which was one positive. But the most important part of ramen is the broth and we did not enjoy either...

Had takeout from here for lunch - first time going here. Had $14.95 Tonkotsu Raman. On the menu this item does not list bean sprouts, which I can’t eat. Sh!tty surprise when I got to work in Burnside and realized my $17 lunch was inedible due to large amount of bean sprouts in with the noodles. Thankfully the pork broth came separately so I added the 2 pork belly slices and a few noodles I could fish out of the bottom without sprouts in them to the broth. Very ‘meh’. Won’t try this place again and honestly I wouldn’t even recommend it. So many better options in...

One of the best ramen I had. I was skeptical at first because of the price, but given how big the bowl of ramen is, it is worth it. The pork broth was great, not to oily and not to salty. Which most pork broth I had was either tasteless or salty. I got the seafood ramen, and they weren't too cheap in their portioning. Plenty of clams and calamari. Also had pork slices. If you're going here, try not to eat anything before, because you'll get really full by the end of the meal.
