It is like a middle mountain before going to my final goal the “Crown Mountain “ for me, it was also a “borderline” of the “easier” area and “harder area” while traveling my adventures into my final destination “Crown Mountain “🏔️ too!! If you are going to the “Crown Mountain “ 🏔️ and if you are in the top of the “Dam Mountain” it means that you are about 30% there…. for sure… according to my personal experience…. After this middle “Stopping Point” the “Dam Mountain” the trail’s difficulty becomes straightly up!!! So it’s your last chance to give up and turn around!!! If you didn’t ready enough to go for hiking about cloths, gear or food, or you think it doesn’t have enough time to make it to the final destination the “Crown Mountain” please turn around in here!!! It’s your last chance for you to do!!! If you decided to got after this “Dam Mountain “ ⛰️ then…. Umm…. 🤔 good luck for you for sure!!! Good luck!!! 🤞 😂

Snow shoe grind! Indeed quite steep in last 1/4. Very short, less than 5k out and back, less than 1 hr to complete if you take gondola and start from the chalet. Highly recommend to do a whole loop along with thunderbird ridge (7k a loop 1 1/2 h). Snowshoes are not exactly needed but spikes and poles are very helpful.

It was not located at the exact place marked in the gmap but there are sign boards to follow. The mountain is just okay but the hike is good and could be a little challenging for kids and old.
