With two locations, this is my go-to halal grocery store. I have never left here disappointed!! I would consider it a hidden gem. It is localIy family owned (the owners are super sweet) which I prefer to support. When I lived in the city, I would drive from the south west all the way to the north to shop here. I miss this place dearly as I have moved provinces, but always stop by when in town - I actually know people in Saskatchewan who come here to buy a certain delicious feta cheese that apparently can't be found elsewhere! They carry a wide selection of imported foods and produce from all over the Middle East and Mediterranean; in addition, they still carry some typical/popular North American brands too so you can get all your groceries done in one place. Great deli/butcher selection as well as bakery. Customer service is amazing, the girls that work the till are extremely helpful and know the inventory well which is super hard to come by. Read moreGreat produce, great meat selection, great deli, great bakery and all other things Mediterranean. The store is well lit and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the chicken shawarma at Sunbake Pita and you can buy all the ingredients here and make your own at home. I will definitely come back again and do recommend this place. The prices on the produce are reasonable and good quality. I still love both locations. I love the fresh Dolma, hummus, Fayatar and Kafta. The meat department is awesome and will try to accommodate your needs if what you’re looking for if not on the shelf, for instance my wife wanted a smaller size of Kafta package and it was no problem. ...

Let's put aside the fact that the cashiers for the most part don't smile and have bad attitudes. But a few weeks back I bought a container of sour cream. When I came home I realized it was two days beyond its expiry date. Should it really be my responsibility to check that? I should be able to trust that they're putting quality products on the shelf. Today was the tipping point. I bought a pack of chicken for $15 as I usually do. I came home and as soon as I opened it, the most absolute sour smell came out. I smelled each chicken breast and it was sour beyond belief. I'm sickened and will never in my life shop here again. Maybe commit to quality and customer service more because this is...
