We are a regular to this restaurant because of its taste primarily. We have been there atleast once every month for the last 1-2 years. We took a family friend today to give him a glimpse of nice Mediterranean food. The person(male) who served us didn’t even ask whether we have been here before or not and he treated as if we are coming for the first time primarily because we are south East Asian and started recommending food. There is nothing wrong with that but I would recommend the restaurant to ask this first before going ahead with your recommendation . I didn’t say a word and I proceeded towards ordering. I ordered 1 shawarma plate and 1 trio kebab and I asked him I need 1 shawarma wrap as well and he mentioned it’s too much food for the party and he said he will recommend only the first two. I am ok with that but I wanted to provide a variety to my guest and I do know for sure it will represent a good combination for a party of 5 . When the order came in, it was 2 shawarma plate and 1 kebab and I did ask the lady about why there is two and she went to the kitchen and came back saying I ordered two plates which I did not. The person who took the order originally came by and I asked him why there is a mix up of order and this is where I am not happy with the service of the person in particular . He didn’t even acknowledge that he made a mistake in taking the order wrong and he went on to ask do you want to order anything else and whether we are ok for now. There is no courtesy of even apologizing for the mix up in order. We have had a similar experience with this person a long time back and there was another gentlemen who is one of the best in service was there to quickly resolve the situation which made us feed good about how the restaurant is valuing the customers. But this time, I was disappointed by the experience and it was a let down for my guests to bring them here . I had no complaints about the food which is always good but the service like this will bring even if you have the best...
Read moreI went here for the NYE night. $80 per person. It was chaotic from the beginning but it’s packed so that’s understandable. To my surprise though my $80 plate does not include any drinks ok fine go get a drink it’s $5 for a pop a table of four it’s $20. You do not even get complimentary water but don’t think about getting a water cup they only sell bottles.
Ok fine everything else was okay it’ll be a good night. Expect they encourage you to bring your own shisha we call before hand and ask about the process and they say they’ll supply you coals only to come find out they’re charging you for coals too. The music is blasting so you can’t even try to ask about this.
The food was subpar. The “ appetizer “ dishes were okay but the way everything came out was disorganized for the barbecue they give you 1 only plate of a chicken , kafta and beef skewer. That’s 3 skewers for 4 people. Don’t worry though the rice will come out 10 minutes later. To top it off they do give you ONE piece of sushi! How nice. I left wondering what our $320 went too? Was it the entertainment? They did also advertise “ giveaways and door prizes” which definitely did not happen.
All in all I don’t care about the money but it’s the principle this is a business that’s doing well clearly but seriously you can’t even include a drink in your set menu that’s EIGHTY dollars?
Next year I think I’ll save my money and go get a 5 star...

And let me tell you that this place did not disappoint whatsoever at all!! They have a huge variety of food platters to choose from and the prices are definitely worth what you pay for! I personally ordered the Taouk combo plate which was perfect because it literally has a little bit of everything ! It comes with your choice of meat of course, hummus, fries, rice and also your choice of salad! It was plenty of food that I was too full to even finish!!! The Taouk was so juicy and tender and the flavor and condiments in the meat just melt in your mouth!! my friend ordered the beef shawarma plate which she loved as well!! the atmosphere in this restaurant is phenomenal and all the staff were very kind and welcoming and just overall outstanding! we also got to meet the owner Ali and the manager Andy and they both were very lovely people as well to talk too!
