Dairy Queen (Treat) — Local services in Greater Sudbury

Showed up at location 9pm.....attempted to enter location to place an order for takeaway. Discover doors are locked, no entry. Go back to hotel, discover Skip the Dishes and Doordash are a no-go for this location (inspite of what is noted on Google Maps for this location). Walk back outside, get in the queue of cars (as a pedestrian) and gesture to the window staff I'd like to place an order. Get to the window and comment to the "manager" (some 20-something expert on global commerce) that this DQ really needs to get into the real world w/ respect to access and order taking).

Local "expert" tells me they are short staffed AND doing just fine thank you very much.....they are making money. Guess this is what passes for ok in Sudbury in 2022.

I receive my Blizzard.......partially melted (the mind boggles as to how that's even possible in the 2 minutes since I've placed my order), no plastic top covering the order (spoon stuck into the product) and melted ice cream down the side of the cup.

Either the owner/operator of this location has NO idea of what is actually going on inside their business (very bad if true), or they know and they just don't care (even worse).

Guess who won't be a...

Came by on Friday and wow! The lines were huge, they were obviously slammed. I ended up having to go in to order cause the line was to the road.

Regardless of how busy and slammed they were; the staff were all extremely friendly, even an older gentleman who I really should've gotten the name of considering he took my order (3 chilli cheese hot dogs, mothers day cake, and a soft serve ice cream).

While waiting for our order you could hear how great the staff were at communicating!

This franchise location surely knows how to train their staff, and it really shows! Definitely only going to this location from this point forward!...

I find the staff are very rude in the drive thru. My husband bought a blizzard the other night it wasn't even mixed. He went back and they would not even fix it. They said " well it has all the ingredients" He wasn't very happy. By the time he got home with it was now melted. Also they should have their sign fixed outside. You cannot see it at all. Another time we went they got upset at me because my order was too large. And said to me next time make it smaller. I think we will drive to another location from now on. Even though this one is literally down the street...
