A nice replacement for your traditional breakfast location. Plenty of different new and modern options for breakfast.
They offer many different types of eggs Benedict, waffles and pancakes. Also have an awesome bakery in the back that you can order for take away for dining in.
We got the a pork belly eggs Benedict, blueberry pancakes and a kids waffle combo.
Eggs Benedict: eggs were cooked perfectly. Egg yolk was oozing out when cut which is 100p perfect. Pork belly was on the thin side. Required more seasoning. I was hoping for a half inch slab suffocating my English muffin. I needed to add salt to bring everything together. Apple slaw was a nice change and welcomed. Crunchy apples, celery and red cabbage with the green goddess sauce went together very nicely. If you are a large eater, I would pass on the apple slaw and try to potatoes.
Kids waffle combo: came with an drink, we got apple juice. Waffle was full size waffle, with 3 strips of bacon. Maple syrup was on the table. Waffle was fluffy, sweet was tasty. Bacon was salty and cooked to my liking.
Blueberry pancakes: awesome crunchy texture of the granola with the soft pillowyness of the pancakes. Not overly sweet. Could had been slightly sweeter. This was filling.
Coffee: was coffee
I would highly recommend trying the bakery goods. I did not have the stomach space to try it. Prices are a bit on the high side, especially for the eggs...
Read moreWent here for the first time today and ordered a traditional breakfast, which was very good but not at all hot. I ate it anyways because I don’t like to complain (lol). I asked for the bacon well done, and the poached eggs medium, which both were! The sourdough toast was incredible. I loved the variety of healthy options on the menu as well as different options not necessarily available at other local establishments.
The environment was nice. Clean, open, comfortable seating arrangements, perfect lighting both natural and artificial, and the music was soft (although a tad loud but that could be just my preference). The waitress was very kind, and it was cool to see the baking staff prepare their baked goods through the glass door. The smell of the bakery was distracting (haha) in a good way and we’re now off to that side of the restaurant to look for some goodies to take home with us!
The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the paper towels in the bathroom are up way too high. It’s hard when you’re vertically challenged or a child...
Read moreThis restaurant had good reviews that made us want to try it. Our waitress was very pleasant I had the Beni with vegetables apple slaw and added onions to my Beni, my husband had the Beni with beef and home fries. My eggs were cooked a bit more than medium, my husbands the eggs were barely cooked. In both cases the eggs were very small compared to other breakfasts in other restaurants. The apple slaw was not to my taste, but there was nothing wrong with it My husband beef had unique seasonings that were not mentioned on the menu. It was not to his liking Most of the home fries were hard as rock, that you couldn’t pierce with a fork. My husband waited awhile to get a top up of his coffee, that he finally asked as soon as he saw someone, it was not a problem and his refill was prompt once he asked. The manager did speak to us and apologized, but never offered any compensation, we didn’t ask and our bill was promptly brought to us. We...
