Hidden treasure. A small neighborhood grocer with lots of Portuguese and Brazilian products. Some of their olive oils I've never seen elsewhere in Mtl. Decent prices. Small selection of fresh vegetables. There is a charcuterie in the back with chorizo, roast chicken, homemade soup and bifania. Small selection of salt-cod. Lots of frozen seafood. No frills Portuguese market with Brazilian products, reasonable prices and great service.

On the other hand, there are many products way beyond the expiration date (e.g., sometimes a whole year). Although there is a little section where expired products are offered at a lower price, an employee refused marking down the price on a product that I found in the alleys and that was beyond its expiration date.

LOVE this place, even if it's a bit far by foot for me, but the 55 runs nearby.
