I'm not very knowledgable about this type of yoga, I do understand that it is a more rigid form of yoga, therefor I do not want to emphasize too much on the lack of warmth and welcome I felt when I came here. However I think it is fair for me to tell others who may be beginners that I definitely would not recommend this studio. From the beginning the whole experience was a bit stressful for me. There was really no moment for me to practice mindfulness in this class. The instructor had a rather cold and direct approach to teaching, I felt like I was being commanded rather than coached. I also want to mention that the person I spoke to on the phone was very kind and told me to come a bit early to have a basic review of the course, I also hoped to be able to ask questions before the class in order to educate myself further about this form of yoga and to discuss a serious knee injury I have and how it would effect my performance, but the instructor seemed very uninterested. Biggest thing for me was how I felt totally unwelcomed and a little disregarded from the moment I entered the studio, and that the instructions during the class felt more like commands or orders, which were sometimes hard to follow.
