Farm Boy — Local services in Ontario

Best Grocery Experience! Their meat is fresh and good quality cuts. Their box of wild blueberries is an excellent price comparatively. The store is always clean, tidy, and most inviting. I have only eaten the hot/cold food bar once, but it was also quite good. I have always been treated with respect while shopping at Farm Boy. I used to shop at Remark, however Remark's management is absolutely horrendous!! -- when an issue arose with their food product they lied and completely walked away from rectifying the problem...which cost me over $200! Farm Boy is a MUCH better store to shop and has so much better quality of food. The store is easy to navigate, not overcrowded. Product selection is great with an immense variety. Even prepacked ready-to-go lunch bags for kids or working parents! Prices are a little higher than your run-of-the-mill grocer (ie Food Basics or No Frills), but the quality is worth the extra cents. Farm Boy puts on fantastic sales so you can get the better cuts of meat, etc, for the same price as Loblaws or the like. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FARM BOY!!! (and do not even think about going to Remark--you'll most certainly regret it...

OMG that breakfast bar.. Just wow! +3 stars The coffee didn't have enough sugar in it (my fault) and the produce was fresh. I don't know what you other people are complaining about. +1 star

GMO chips.. because GMOs are necessarily bad.. because organic foods don't use pesticides/whatever because everything organic is the best, because someone told you so ..I'm looking at you Private519....

Spoke to 5 staff (including cashier) while there. 4/5 smiled and seemed generally happy. All 5 were polite The guy running the breakfast bar talked to me for near 5 minutes, explaining how it works (because I'm new) when breakfast changes to lunch, what will be there.. just awesome. +1 star

When I left, a very happy fella took my basket for me. no stars for this, sorry fella, you're cool though.

Farm Boy is my new grocery store. If they are hiring, I want...

My wife and ishop at Farmboy Beaverbrook regularly, why... its convenient 4 us, but we love the whole shopping experience, their staff is amazing, really go out of their way 2 make sure your shopping xperience is a good one... We are there at least 3-4 times a week, we love their fresh produce, fruits and vegis are great, and they buy local whenever they can, we also get meats and fish there as well, plus they carry a lot of items under the Farm Boy label which we like, they hav a nice deli counter, as well as a good selection at their cheese section, as well as a hot food section, and a salad bar selection, and dairy, and bakery section, but the main reason we keep coming back is the service and staff, just amazing, love that store, it's too bad I don't have shares there, I'm spending, but...
