I recently tried Qbob Takeout, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. For my meal, I opted for the Negini Kebab, and it was nothing short of spectacular.
The Negini Kebab is a beautiful combination of succulent chicken and koobideh, skewered together in perfect harmony. The chicken was tender and juicy, marinated in a blend of saffron and spices, while the koobideh added a rich, flavorful contrast. The combination of the two in one bite was simply divine, offering a unique taste of Persian grilling at its finest.
Accompanied by their signature saffron rice, the meal was not only filling but also packed with authentic Persian flavors. The rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, complementing the kebab beautifully. Even as a takeout option, the dish maintained its quality, arriving hot and fresh, just as if I were dining in.
Qbob Takeout impressed me with its quick service and attention to detail. My order was ready promptly, and the packaging ensured everything stayed warm and intact during the trip home.
If you're craving authentic Persian cuisine on the go, Qbob Takeout is the place to try. The Koobide kebab is a must-have for anyone who appreciates the art of Persian grilling, and the overall experience is one that will keep me coming...
Read moreMy friend Poly Na reached out to me and said there’s a new takeout place that serves Persian food. She’s a friend of theirs, and they opened just a week ago. You can find them on Wharncliffe Rd and Commisioners Rd. The name is QBOB - Takeout + Delivery Restaurant!
I took a Vaziri Kabob. This was a meal with red and white meat so that I could try both. In it came a lot of different things to eat. There was of course beef and chicken, but the beef was particularly tasty. In Iranian cuisine, they call this beef kabob “koobideh,” made from ground lamb; the grilled chicken chunks were joojeh, which is typically marinated with lemon juice and saffron. There was regular rice and saffron rice, a blistered tomato, pickles, and half of a lime. They added Gay Lea whipped butter, so I mixed that in with the rice and tomato. It costed $17.99. I’ll give this meal a 8.3/10.
I moved on to the dish of olives and nuts. They told me to try this. Everyone close to me knows I love olive oil. Hence, my love for that transferred over to this. I believe this costed $7.98. It deserves an 8.6/10.
These were very nice people. They were accommodating in providing me utensils and showed great care in preparing the food. Thanks for sending...
Read moreI decided to try out a new restaurant for dinner and I'm so happy that I did. I ordered the Vaziri and an extra portion of rice plus a side order of Maust-O-Khiar.
The food was packed neatly and securely, the portions were great and the food was still hot when it got delivered even though I live on the other end of the city.
The rice was also fluffy and buttery and the grilled tomato and pickles with the kebobs were delish. I would say though, that I would have loved to have tasted a bit more seasoning on the Koobideh without having to add my own but not the biggest deal as it's still tasty as is! My meal also came with a free order of Shole Zard which was a nice treat after the entree.
Will definitely be...
