I've worked in graphic design and print for over 10 years now. I decided to get Staples to print a photo for me as I didn't have access to a printer at the time (due to Covid). I first got the staff to print the photo for me (in house at my local store) to which the colours came washed out and the blacks crushed. I then tried to contact them about this with. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I sent another inquiry. While still waiting for an answer on both inquiries, I then proceeded to use the professional print team instead (where they will print the document and then ship it to your local store vs the local store printing themselves) to see if this would be an improvement. It was, but only VERY minimally and was still unsatisfactory. I then contacted Staples again to notify them what is happening (as it should not be doing this as the document was properly adjusted correctly on my graphic design monitor) and is not reflecting as it should, and again haven't heard anything back. I am getting ticket requests #'s and know my inquiries are going through because I get emails saying "The support team will review and respond to your email as quickly as possible. We're usually able to respond within 24 hours"...
It is now 5 months later, I have still yet to get a reply! They keeping sending me "How would you rate the support you were given" emails and yet no one has bothered to even answer any of my emails. They blame Covid for being delayed, but it shouldn't take close to half a year to even acknowledge an inquiry (which I still haven't gotten). I think they even closed the ticket/inquiry case because it's been so long the system thinks it's resolved and...
Read moreRecently my 81 yrs old aunt went to staples to buy a simple cheap house phone. Someone helped her with it but when she saw the price she said to you have something cheaper. The person helping her asked if she had a cell phone, they could give her a discount on both phone if she did. The tech guy started telling her what he as going to do so she agreed but she specifically said she didnât want to switch from bell her current cell provider. He told her it was going to be with virgin and also said that both providers are together now. So she proceeded with what he was doing because she told she was still going to be with one bill from bell at the end of the month. He neglected to tell her that. So it wasnât until she showed a text from virgin saying she owed 49$. Searching her phone I found out that she was switched to virgin. She was so upset and started getting anxiety. She felt like she was scanned. She is very French and he did not speak English very well so there was a lot of confusion with her. She taught he was doing the right thing for her. She couldnât get a refund from staples but virgin at the Cornwall square was able to help her and get back a plan with bell and a plan similar to what she had. So beware to seniors out there donât asked for discounts or something cheaper. She said it was a nightmare for her. Sheâs stress free now. All this for a 5$ discount on a...
Read moreI've never felt this way before shopping somewhere, so I had to write a review. I'm appalled at whoever owns this store. The employees were running around so fast and trying so hard and its was sad to see them to be forced to work like this. I watched 2 employees cover 2 counters each, running back and forth between cash registers between customers. Same with the copier counter the nicest lady was covering 3 cash registers.
I get the owners want to make more money for themselves however this straight up wasn't cool, and I can't believe anyone would run a store like this at the employee's expense. There is obviously zero respect for the employees from the owners.
Not to mention the store looks ghetto and gross now.
Shame...
