On our second time bringing our 4 month old puppy to Whozagooddog he swallowed a small sized tennis ball. This lead to a surgery costing us $2600. When we picked our puppy up from the facility he was covered head to toe in saliva, when we asked why they told us that is was due to his stress and anxiety of being in a crate. As the week progressed his appetite and energy levels decreased drastically. He then began to throw up water every time he would drink, that’s when we knew something was wrong. After convincing the vet it was more than dehydration they gave him an x-ray and found the ball, they immediately took him in for emergency surgery.
When we brought this to Curtis, who is one of the owner’s he agreed that the ball was from their facility and offered us 6 months free service and half the cost of the surgery. I declined his offer and told him I would never allow them the opportunity to watch over our dog again and that I expected them to cover the full cost of the surgery.
After waiting two weeks for his response he told us, and I quote “Floki needs to take some of the accountability for his actions” as well as myself and my wife as the owners. He was also kind enough to recommend that we seek training to prevent this from happening in the future. After two months we decided we did not have the time, patience or energy to pursue our case in small claims court. We reached out to him and told him we would accept half the cost. Unsurprisingly, he did not respond.
It has now been several months since the incident. We took a lot of time to consider if we thought this was a post we should make public. We do not typically seek this type of attention. We feel disrespected, overlooked and mistreated. We simply asked them to practice good business and do the right thing. He argued that this was the first time this has happened in their time as a business, this should have never happened as it could have lead to the...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about this place! My dog has always been terrified of strangers, so I was incredibly nervous about bringing her to any daycare. But from the moment we walked in, the staff were absolutely amazing — patient, understanding, and so gentle with her. They took the time to gain her trust, and now she absolutely LOVES going!
One thing that melted my heart was when they dressed her up in a cute little outfit for their Beach Day and even got a photo of her — something I never imagined would be possible, given how shy she is. It’s clear that they truly care about each dog as an individual.
She’s full of energy at home and usually only tires out after 4–5 hour hikes — but every time she comes back from daycare, she’s so content and wiped out in the best way. It’s obvious she’s been mentally and physically stimulated, but also cared for and safe.
This daycare has been a game-changer for both of us. I finally have peace of mind knowing she’s in great hands, and she gets to socialize, have fun, and be herself. I’m so grateful for the staff and...
Read moreI booked an appointment before Christmas because my regular groomer (at another location) was off sick. I’d never been there before but thought I try it out. Emailed and fb message someone from the groomers and booked a time and date. When I arrived that day, they said I had missed my appointment and there was nothing that could be done and the girl was no help and said no availability to rebook. I had to leave and when I got to my car I looked at my emails and FB messages and realized I had the right time, they messed up. When I went back in, I showed them my emails and the girl went off whispering with someone else. Came back and didn’t say sorry or we missed up, just took my dog and said “fine, we’ll take her.” When I came back to pay they didn’t say anything about the mix up and just handed her over and that was it. Absolutely terrible customer service and booking system. Needless to say, I never...
