Hands down one of the best Indian restaurant that kingston has now. We visited here with my family of 20 a week or two ago. And the manager as well as staff - everyone was friendly and polite. Great work ethics and service offered. Their vegetarian Thai was delicious and had many veg options to choose from. Good quality and quantity. Affordable prices. Mango lassi and grilled cheese was good too and so was spicy fries masala. The place was nice and clean. There is enough space to accommodate big family inside and outside in the patio. I’m not sure if it was a manager or owner but they made sure to come and ask how was food etc and one of them also offered candies to the little one. Wonderful gestures. The other one also offered us 5-6 water bottles for our journey when he found out we were visiting Kingston. That was so kind and thoughtful of him. You rarely get to see that happening these days. Wonderful way to interact and make customers feel at home and comfortable. Definitely coming back and trying other stuff that they offer. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely Delicious Indian Food in Kingston! I stayed in Kingston for 2 days and ended up going to Lala Masala both days just for lunch — that should say it all! On the first day, we tried the aloo paratha, chole bhature, and amritsari kulcha — every single dish was bursting with authentic flavor and served fresh and hot. I couldn’t resist going back the next day, and once again, the parathas and chole bhature did not disappoint. We also tried the sandwich, which was equally satisfying. The food was consistently excellent, well-portioned, and comforting — just like a home-cooked Indian meal. If you’re in Kingston and craving Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Loved it!

We love Indian food and have been veg for 34 years so we were very excited to find out about this place and finally get to try it! The menu is extensive! Be sure to check it out and have a strategy so as to not be overwhelmed! We chose a few items we are familiar with and a few new things and we LOVED everything! We had samosas, aloo gobi and garlic naan (the familiar things) and Momos, Cholle Kathi Roll and Gobi Parantha (the unfamiliar items). WOW!! So delicious, so much flavour. We will definitely be back and look forward to them adding some tables for a dine-in experience!

Review: 1 Star

I recently ordered chola bhutera, three samosas, and pani puri from this restaurant, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Almost immediately after starting to eat, I began to feel extremely sick and ended up vomiting. I have no idea what could have caused this, but it was clearly something off about the food.

In addition to the poor quality of the food, I attempted to reach out to the restaurant to express my concerns and inquire if anything had gone wrong with my order. Unfortunately, they did not respond at all, which only added to my frustration.

It’s disappointing to see such a lack of care for customers and food safety. I would strongly advise others to think twice before dining here. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I will not be returning.

I didnot want to post it and called them in person when I didnot hear back from them it just made me feel as if the customer are none of their concern as soon as they earn and deliver the food. Plus I hardly ate anything except for one bhatura and one samosa had to throw the rest of it

Ps I paid around 30- 35$...

I had a disappointing experience at Lala Masala. I ordered two samosas with chai, and I was told it would take 15 minutes—fine, I didn’t mind waiting. But after 15 minutes, I was served cold samosas! When I asked why, the staff casually said that they don’t bother making fresh samosas for small orders like mine. Apparently, they make them in the morning, keep them all day, and just microwave them when someone orders.

This is unacceptable for a restaurant. If you’re running a place and claiming to have the best prices in Kingston, that doesn’t mean you compromise on quality. And the worst part? The staff, particularly an older gentleman, was dismissive and disrespectful, implying that my order didn’t deserve proper treatment because it was “just two samosas.”

It doesn’t matter if someone orders two samosas or a full meal, every customer should be respected, and quality should never be compromised. If you’re looking for fresh, quality food and decent customer service, I’d suggest...
