We have been coming to BMM for over 30 years now and that should tell you something. They are simply the best, in everyway, if you're looking for quality at affordable prices. Look no further . I know they are farm fresh and not mass produced.. From BBQ steak season, Superbowl wings, to holiday turkey, to everyday meals, sandwich meat, cheeses or Sunday morning bacon, the best baked potato's, specialty sauces, fresh breads and seafood. Just to mention a few...I just wanted to post a review to give those new customers or those interested, of a recent example of the difference in choosing your local butcher shop over a larger retailer. When shopping at Costco, I noticed they had pork back ribs on sale. So, I wanted to compare the price , they were packed in two racks, and as usual looked fatty. Knowing my next stop for my meat shopping was to Buckinghams. I asked for two racks of the back ribs for the weekend and of course I was offered the two best meatiest racks and the price was exactly the same.. So when people think they are paying more think again. Now for the quality or end result.....OMG... I slowed baked them and topped them with the Keg rib sauce, they fell off the bone and were absolutely so delicious. The best as usual. So thank you again, for always keeping your customers happy with the quality, you offer and the best home town friendly customer service which is so far and in between nowadays. I truly appreciate it! 😊

I was introduced to Buckingham Meats by my client near Brooklyn. I started going to the one on N, Thicksen, and then found out that there was one by me on Buckingham Ave. off of Simcoe St. Just N of the hospital. I tried that shop the other day, only to find out they are selling. This was the original Buckingham Meats, run by the father, Wally. Their attention to detail of what you want is superior. Deli meats are hard to find now that everything is packaged and so high in salt content that it's horrible. At least for the time being, I have the choice of both. My absolute favorite order is my 6 oz Fillet (without the bacon). It's always so tender. Pricy, yes, but worth every penny. It's my special treat!!! And it's the only place I can get my slice ham and beef with...

For years we have being going here for our hind quarter and other items. We recently placed another order. Bill informed us that he and Wayne are retiring after 53 years. After a few tears and hugs and handshakes , congratulations were given. They treated us like extended family. The variety of products from vegetables, spices, sauces, specialty pies, like my favourite steak and kidney, cheeses, deli meats, chicken, pork, and of course steak and pork chops. The quality of meat is phenomenal. Somehow it will not be the same without Bill and Wayne, but we wish them the best in their well deserved retirement.
