Sarnia Farmers' Market - A True Local Gem! 🌟
A wonderful traditional farmers' market that's been serving the community since 1847! Open every Wednesday and Saturday year-round.
What to know:
Wednesday mornings are quiet and peaceful - perfect for leisurely shopping Saturday midday is bustling and lively (but parking gets competitive!) Bring cash - most vendors don't accept cards Produce is incredibly fresh and flavorful Meat & cheese vendors offer great quality, but plan to use quickly as refrigeration standards may differ from supermarkets The vibe: This market brings together dozens of local farmers and small businesses under one roof. You're buying directly from the people who grow/make the products! The historic setting and friendly vendors make it a lovely community experience.
Great for finding seasonal produce, artisanal goods, and supporting local agriculture. A must-visit for anyone in Sarnia who appreciates fresh, local food and authentic market atmosphere!

I was worried about my grand daughter getting stung in the face since that's where they would fly near and around...

Make sure to try the butter tarts from the ladies at Bayfield Berry, the spring rolls, or the fresh mini donuts. This place is a genuine delight to shop at - good prices and the best people.
