This coffee shop has a play corner which makes it a great spot to bring young children while you grab a coffee or muffin to enjoy! I recently brought my 4 and 1 year old and they had a blast. We easily stayed for 2 hours and they had plenty of things to do, including imaginative play and coloring pages. It's great for kids under 5 and a very kid-friendly space.
I had the mocha coffee drink with a chocolate muffin and they were both great, but it would have been nice to see more variety in their treats selection. No lunch foods as far as I could tell, which might be nice to offer in the future.
The vibes were excellent and by far my favourite part. It is obvious great attention to detail was given to create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Everything has been designed with a 70s and 80s vintage feel which made me feel quite nostalgic and there were hand-picked pieces of colourful furniture and art which gave off those vintage vibes. A very cozy place to come with friends or even by yourself. The staff were all extremely welcoming and kind. Highly recommend for your next coffee date or hang out...
Read moreFlavourful coffee, friendly service and funky vibes - Their Detour Coffee (Hamilton area roasted) is unique and delicious. I've got an espresso, cortado, americano (great for tasting the beans flavour profile) and iced coffee (tasty jet fuel to power you the rest of the day). They've got amazing bagels and other baked goods from local baker's with great reputations. There's this Gibanica pastry thing from the Balkans that is a layered phyllo pastry with feta and cottage cheese that is divine. Had it warmed with hot honey the one day and it was god tier. The best owners and friendliest staff who care about the neighbourhood. The space is funky with lots of different seating options. Probably the best place in town to have a meeting or work and sip. This is one of those places you visit in another city, wishing Sarnia had one. ...
Read moreThis is honestly the best coffee I've had in Sarnia. I lived in Toronto for three years. One of the things I miss most was a cute little coffee shop on every corner with a different vibe and quality coffee. I've been there twice now. The first time I had an Americano, the second time I had the drip coffee. Both were made very well. The deco is super cute. This place has a homey and calm atmosphere while being stylish and unique. I'm looking forward to my next visit. It seems like a great place to work as well. I may have to go for a longer visit next time I need to do computer work. I will keep supporting you guys and I'm looking forward to seeing how...
