Edit: Owner has provided a refund for the deposit so editing the review to be 3/5. Why the three? (1) The contact options are limited and not only require people to have Facebook and Instagram as a form of contact, but also require the apps to be working properly and not forward the messages to spam. (2) Why have you le email on your personal Instagram page if you don’t plan to use it as a form of communication. (3) while I appreciate and am grateful for the refund, and can empathize that you’re dealing with a software issue that caused my messages to go to spam, it’s still disappointing that it took a poor review to get this rectified.

0 stars. Atrocious customer service and communication from the owner. I’m left feeling like I was scammed/robbed. Beware about paying a deposit without having the actual tattoo appointment booked or else you might end up ghosted too!

My partner had put a damage deposit down for a tattoo for me with Ryan. Which Ryan had told my partner that I just had to reach out to him to schedule it. On Ryan’s Instagram page it says to “DM ME TO BOOK YOUR NEXT TATTOO”.

I have gone since April 30th, 2023 without a reply. I’ve also attempted to email him and wrote a comment on a post in the event the DMs were hidden in requests. My partner even messaged him saying I was trying to message them. But still no response. Unfortunately the end of July I had moved provinces, have not received a tattoo and for some reason lost my damage deposit despite doing my due diligence of attempting to book an...

Update: Review amended to 5 stars overall, as the product itself is great and the issues I had with the experience have been rectified. The owner reached out and offered to refund my deposit, apparently has been having issues with business software and having messages incorrectly filtered to spam folders.

The owner, Ryan, does good work but business communication is terrible. I was able to get an initial piece done with little trouble, but I placed a deposit for a second piece and when I tried to contact (multiple communication methods) to schedule it, was met with zero response after multiple attempts. Finally got a response after over a month but trying to schedule a date and time was met with long periods of silence, and I had to message multiple times to get even one response. Eventually politely asked if my deposit could be refunded, as we clearly would not being able to effectively schedule the work, and as of the time of this writing have not received a response.

Ryan (Little King Ink) has created by far the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had. From initially meeting at the Saskatoon Tattoo Expo where he was approachable, friendly, and communicated clearly about his rates, to visiting the Black Bouquet studio which was clean, organized, and had a laid back welcoming atmosphere. Ryan is an incredibly talented artist and I have never seen such clean lines on a tattoo. Had a blast chatting with him throughout the entire process and will be delighted to return for my next piece. Deserves 10 stars honestly - punctual, strong communication, talented artistry, tattoos heal perfectly, went out of his way to fit my schedule.
