While Indian food has always been vegetarian-friendly, Second Home has taken it a step further and now has a special menu for vegans! This menu includes: -Vegetable Pakoras -Samosas -Daal Makhni -Yellow Lentil Daal -Rajma (red kidney beans) -Sholay (chickpea curry) -Aloo Gobi -Mixed Vegetables -Potatoes and Peas Curry -Palak (spinach) Dishes -Vegetable Biryani -Rice and Tandoori Roti

While I am not a vegetarian or vegan, I have made my way through the vegetable pakoras, samosas, yellow lentil daal, aloo gobi, vegetable biryani and tandoori roti.

After reading the reviews, we were excited to try a new place and the food. The food rated from 1 to 3 so a 2 is given. Very mixed results. We ordered 3 dishes, all medium spicy. There was no spice at all. Zero. The three dishes were sholay, aloo gobi and Paneer second home. The Sholay - rating 1- was so salty that it was impossible to eat. Aloo gobi was good, a 3 but very greasy while the paneer was ok, a 2. As sides, a large rice was very bland while the roti and naan looked and tasted the same. I think we received 2 orders of roti and no naan. The topping was while driving home, the package leaked. I received one bag with the varied containers stacked on top of each other. On the drive home, the weight of the containers on top of each other forced a leak. The bag was soon wet, torn and Indian food was all over my car seat and clothes from carrying the bag. After calling the restaurant, I was told to bring it back. If all you do is takeout, use an extra bag and change...

The name says it all – we are regular customers of Second Home, ordering from this restaurant at least once a week, and we are consistently delighted with our experience. Having traveled to India numerous times, we can confidently say that Second Home truly captures the essence of authentic Indian cuisine. The food is consistently fantastic, and what's more, the prices are incredibly reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of the dining experience. The owners of the restaurant are truly wonderful and have an exceptional understanding of their customers' preferences. When we place our orders, they know exactly what we want, which adds a personal touch to the service that we greatly appreciate.
