It was my first time getting a haircut there. Knowing this was the place where most youths would get theirs, i decided to take the risk - which i soon regret.

I had the worst experience from the barber with a large G-clef symbol (musical note) tattoo on his shoulder in my entire life. Please avoid him at all cost - literally, he doesn't deserve a dollar. I hope they retrain or suspend him for not knowing how to fade, blend, layer, trim and has no clue what a proper barber's cut is. I tried to explain the cut i wanted in simple terms - barber's cut with clean medium fade sides comb over. But still, he was clueless until I showed him a picture which he gazed and simply nodded. He ruined my hair by roughly grazing the clippers against my head until I've noticed there was blood on my hairline, uneven cuts, no symmetry, no attention to detail or preferences. It was only when i told him to cut it all off to save my hair. The end product was completely far off from what we agreed to upon. Only to be told that it was my hair that was the problem. It was frustrating and i am truly disappointed. I ended up with something i have to endure.

I am certain that some of them are amazing barbers with great attention to detail unlike the one who cut my hair. I should've decided to wait for the other barbers who had 2 or 3 customers in line which my barber looked like he was sitting all day on his phone.

I'll only come back to this barbershop and wait in line rather than being serviced by that unprofessional. There was no "elegance" during...

I wanted a short, quasi military haircut, passing by this place I saw some customers having something similar. I have mostly gone to hair saloons but this one was a barber shop and for some reason I find them intimidating.

I came in and sat at JAYROOLL's chair, he asked me what do I wanted and he proceeded as such. I noticed all his tools, cans, brushes and accessories were neatly organized and aligned in his shelf which tells me he's an organized person.

I observed another barber across Jayrooll, short African-Canadian, whom did two customers while I was getting my cut: they looked fine to me but I REALLY APPRECIATED Jayrooll taking his time doing his stuff, I was in no hurry at all and I actually totally enjoyed the scalp massage with his clipper. I noticed his haircut was methodical and progressive, I was looking for a flaw, a line or a cut out of place but he did a superb job. I was more than satisfied.

This barber place specializes in Hispanic style haircuts, you know, like those of hip hop/reggaeton singers that have featured cuts to shape the hairline, really short almost bald cuts and I guess if you want to go fancy and want to have a maze or a logo done in your head, these guys can easily please you.

If you are into barbers shops or want to try one for a change, I totally recommend you to come here, located on the northwest corner of EGLINTON WEST and DUFFERIN, just beside the shoppers drug mart. They close at 8pm. Ask for Jayrooll if you want a professional and...

Thanks to CRUZ my visit at elegance was an absolute beautiful experience I will never forget! So once I arrived to the shop his energy was like no other with such warm and welcoming love, his haircuts are very sharp for anyone looking for precision! He understands hair on another level.
