(2025) TD;DR Competitive pricing, authentic flavoring, okay add-on ingredients, nice mexican design and lots of options The flavours are still pretty good when you are talking about cochinita but the tortillas are a hit or miss. Sometimes they seem fresh, other times they feel reheated. The size and quantity of meat stays great but some of the toppings aren't as fresh looking or tasting as they used to be, along with lackluster limes. Prices did also go up a bit, to $18.07 for 4 tacos vs. $16.94 for 4 tacos in 2024. For more recent pictures, look at the last 7 (2024) First of all, flavours of the tacos are authentic. The sauces are varied in flavour and spiciness. Pricing very competitive verses other GTA taco places, even below average. However, it is odd that if you buy tacos individually, it's cheaper than being a set of 3. The location looks a bit run down but the cultural touches take away the focus from the questionable aspects aesthetically. Parking is a bit tough but you can part on the street for a price or look for residential parking in the area. The servers are okay but you come for the food anyways. There are also various authentic food products and little cultural reminders of central america. Ultimately, I will return and recommend to others for authentic tacos and competitive pricing.

Phenomenal tacos at Dufferin and Eglinton?? Who knew! I wandered into this super festive looking, slice of Mexico City hoping to discover great food in my neighbourhood and was not disappointed! I ordered three tacos (chicken, beef and fish) on corn tortillas with hot sauce and could not believe the huge portions, quality and price! *Easily* better than the tiny hipster ones downtown. The beef was the standout. Really flavourful stir fry with onions in a rich meat sauce that I know my Asian mom will love when I bring her here. The fish was great too—white fish, not breaded, but marinated and great portion! I immediately alerted all my friends! I saw that they are in all the apps. But I think dining in to experience the atmosphere, lovely service and eating those huge tacos dripping with filling was the way to go! The restaurant also has a little store full of imported foods from Mexico. I bought some guava nectar from the fridge, which was also delicious. These people nailed it. Can’t wait to eat more things next time!

The best quesadillas that I had in Toronto. The corn tortillas are handmade and flavourful. All ingredients taste fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great and decorations vibrant and joyful. We initially tried to order online and there was a miscommunication with the online app and we called the restaurant. They were super attentive and helpful. We ended up deciding to go to the restaurant and dine in and it was great. They even offered a free drink, even not being their fault that the delivery app made a mistake in our order. I also found my favorite milk powder Nido (or Ninho for Brazilians) in their grocery store session and couldn't be happier!
