Games Workshop — Local services in Toronto

Literally the most helpful people I've ever met at any store I've ever been to:

-I bought a few items online to pick up at this location in about a week. When I called in later to clarify how I should pick them up, they offered to cancel the online order on my behalf so I could buy those items in-store instead. This saved me 6 days on delivering a birthday gift for my best friend

-when I wanted to buy paints, they introduced me to the Citadel Colors app and helped guide me through which paint schemes I liked most and which paints I should buy to achieve them

-When looking at proxies for my army, they recommended which in-store boxes they'd recommend, as well as other army sets to look at

-They let me know early on about a Christmas day preorder that I had no knowledge about, offering to sign me up for the announcement (I didn't buy that box, but it lead me to another army's pre-order box that I did buy)

I'm new to Warhammer, so I had no idea where to start and was extremely nervous when I arrived at the store. So, a huge thank you to the staff; they explained everything in detail, answered my questions, and even demonstrated how certain paints work and what brushes to use. I'm incredibly upset that, given how nervous I was, I couldn't remember the name of the guy behind the counter. He was extra friendly and helpful, made the introduction to the hobby ten times easier! I'm gonna make sure to visit the shop each and every time I'm in Toronto! If I could, would go there every weekend. Wonderful...

Although you can get discounted prices for miniatures at other locations, I still go to Games Workshop most of the time because of their great customer service! I'm still a beginner to the hobby, and their staff (shout-out to Paolo by the way) are always ready, willing, and actually enthusiastic to answer my questions! Not to mention that they have promotions such as a monthly collectible coin and free monthly miniature, as well as a buy 9 get 1 free paint sale that makes buying my hobby needs there worth it. 5/5 would come again (especially since I have my purchases delivered to...
