Knowing nothing about cake decorating, being a total beginner and a new commer to Canada, I contacted Ice A Cake regarding cake decorating course. Miss Lika was the person who picked the phone. She patiently explained me about the cake decorating methods, and 4 courses related to it and how they are taught in her class. I realized that the teacher was very knowledgeable, and it was the correct place for me. On the 1st day of the class itself I was really impressed with her teaching and her good qualities a teacher should have. I followed all 4 courses at a stretch, and was able to finish them within a short period. I always had something new to learn in every class and it was interesting.The course was well-structured. I also appreciated the helpful tips on tools and materials. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their cake decorating skills. In between the 4 main course I was able to participate cookie decoration and cupcake bouquet workshops which were conducted by Shabrina. They two were really useful and I enjoyed them too. I hope to participate in all the othe workshops in the future. Thank you so...

Lika, proprietor of this business is an amazingly talented and knowledgeable instructor/teacher who is committed to helping her students achieve personal goals in sugar artistry. A variety of classes and courses are offered at different skills levels to meet students’ needs. The facility is extremely clean, nicely decorated and has all the necessary equipment and supplies required for hands on classes and students’ participation. “I had a really frustrating experience at this cake decorating school. Every time I made a mistake, the instructor would ignore me or give me very little guidance on how to fix it. But when other students made mistakes, she was quick to help them out and give them detailed instructions. It was clear she had favourites, and unfortunately, I wasn’t one of them.

I really wanted to improve my skills, but it was impossible in that kind of environment. I felt singled out and ignored, and it was so discouraging that I stopped looking forward to the classes. I know she’s deleted reviews like mine before, but hopefully, this one stays up long enough for you to read it. Save your time and money—I definitely do not recommend...
