I went to this branch earlier today, and I am very irritated with the experience. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.
After doing work in the area under a really hot sun, I walked in looking to grab a nice tuna sandwich. I said hello twice, and had to knock on the glass to bring out the Indian staff member busy on her phone in the back.
I asked for the same, and decided to go with Italian bread. She asked if I wanted white, and I got confused by this so I asked if there were many different types. She told me to read the list on the glass, which wasn't there. I said the only thing written was italian or whole grain, and again asked her what were the different types of the italian bread. She then retorted angrily saying: "So you don't know right?!"
Immediately, I responded by saying "Ofcourse I don't. Must be why I asked you?" I then asked her in Hindi why she was so upset, and showing attitude for absolutely nothing as if she was doing me a favor. I had been there once before and saw how she treated everyone else, so I made it clear that it wasn't me who was the problem but her. (Story for another time.)
She immediately said she wouldn't serve me and was shocked that I put her in her place, but I didn't care. I walked straight out and never looked back to give her some recognition.
I went through the other reviews on here and it looks like she's the only full time indian lady giving others a lot of problems too. I never think that anyone should lose their job, but that has to do with mistakes you can learn from. For this lady, I would make an exception. I've worked for terrible employers who would keep you on your toes with worry for your job, and it saddens me to see that someone so uninvested in her role gets to stay and show attitude to her customers, when others are hunting for work left and right.

Read moreOk so i visited this subway store about 9 am on 04 march 2024 and i was continuously waiting about20 minutes and then a girl came and said i was in washroom i said thats okay then i ordered two footlong sandwiches and she prepared the sandwiches and then before leaving i just talked in soft tone that am gonna late for my work she said why then i replied because of late response by you but i said thats okay no worried but then she straightly replied ghat you are lying. So it means that the customer is lying and the employee who is coming after 20-25 minutes is trustworthy right! So it means there is no trust on ghe customer and also no value for customers. She straightly replied you are lying. So i replied that am lying she said yes. So that means subway is getting worse day by day because they are unable to train their employees that how to respond in these types of situations without getting the customer hurted. And i also blame the management because of their lack in training of that girl because of which she declaring the customer lying. For your kind information you can also check the cctv recording. I demand to take strict actions against that employee as management can.and I also posted this on facebook and also whoever reading this post I want to tell you one thing that if there is no respect then you shouldn’t be there. I have posted on all social medica that you should not visit ghe kennedy eglinton subway because their employees are giving certificates by their own that YOU ARE LYING. If management is little bit serious about their future customers so they should take strict actions against these kind of employees so further customer don’t get hurted. Read moreI wish I could give ZERO STARS! I had a horrible experience at this location and will NOT ever eat here again! First of all upon walking in this store it was a total mess food and wrappers were left on ALL tables. We ordered thinking someone would be out to clean by the time our order was completed but nobody attempted to clean, we actually had to request someone to come and clean a table because ALL tables were covered. On top of that I requested tomato's on my sub and was told they were out, this was crazy to me because it was only 2pm. We ate our food and went to order our kids a sub after we were finished and to my surprise there was fresh tomatoes in the topping area, after I specifically asked for tomato's and was told they didn't have anymore!
