Do NOT work with this company. They are unreliable, dishonest, and completely unprofessional.

I hired Simon’s to pick up and install a dishwasher from Coast Appliances, and it turned into an absolute nightmare. The initial installation window was confirmed via email as 10 AM to 12 PM, but on the morning of the appointment, I received a last-minute text saying the time had been changed to 1 PM to 3 PM. When I showed them the original email confirmation, they admitted they had “messed up” the scheduling, but offered no apology or solution.

Things only went downhill from there. The technician arrived at Coast Appliances to pick up the dishwasher, but instead of confirming with the Sales Associate (as he should have), he rudely asked the receptionist for it. After that, he left without picking it up. When I called Simon’s to ask where the technician was, the person on the phone outright lied, claiming that Coast Appliances didn’t have my purchased dishwasher. It was clear the technician was frustrated, likely because of their internal scheduling errors, and was rushing to get out of there.

Simon’s never completed the job, nor did they offer any honest explanations. I tried following up, but they completely ghosted me—refusing to address the problems they caused. They didn’t care to resolve the situation or even offer a reasonable solution.

This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful of their customers' time and trust. They will waste your time, cause unnecessary stress, and leave you with unresolved issues. I will never be working with Simon’s again, and I strongly advise you to stay far away.

Simon appliances can not be trusted. I did a full kitchen renovation and they were contracted out by Trail Appliances to install a hoodfan. They didnt drill and screw in the hood fan screws properly and popped the newly installed backsplash out. My only fix was to regrout and live with their poor work.

They said they would come back and do things properly and said the boss would come too. Week after week passed and no one responded. I called, emailed and texted but they dont care.

They offered to refund the fee, but said it would take 1 month because the accountant was on vacation. After some time they sent me only $150, but the damage costs more. I called and asked to speak to the owner or manager but no contact was made.

If you want someone to damage your home and not be accountable then Simon appliances is your company. If you care about your home pick someone else. Trail should end their contract. If they can't install a hoodfan, why would someone hire them to do plumbing work? The potential damage would be worse.

I've given over a month to remedy the situation but they havent. They clearly dont care about you.

I have all the email and text conversations saying they would take action and they havent.

Outstanding service! Shawn was our gas fitter today, he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything sorted and installed correctly, he was a pleasure to have in our home. Shawn was here in the morning to shut off the gas and came back at the end of the day to finish up the install, making it a complete service in one day, this was impressive. What really made Shawn stand out was that we also had a plumber scheduled to come today who canceled on us, we mentioned this to Shawn, (unaware that Simon’s offers plumbing solutions) and without hesitation he fixed our sink as well! He could have called it quits or scheduled to come another time, but he stayed until this unscheduled job was completed. This is why local, family owned businesses are so important to the island!
