My family had the chicken souvlaki & chicken gyros on pita bread. As soon as I saw the chicken pieces being placed on the pita, I knew it was going to be good & I was right. The chicken, tzatziki & pita were all delicious. Bill let me sample his homemade hot sauce & I ended up taking a container of it with me. It was just the right amount of spicy that I like. I'll be back for sure to order more food & to try some of their meats & products...

Such a wonderful place. EXCELLENT food both prepared and preserved. Excellent tzatziki and spreads. Excellent and very fresh meats. The seasoned chicken kebabs are amazing. Everything made in store. I love the Ballantrae Market. It’s great having a butcher with excellent quality meats and great Greek offerings like Gyros on the weekends and excellent Greek sausages and sticks (slouvaki). I moved up to Ballantrae from Toronto near Greek Town and was frustrated that I couldn’t find authentic Greek slouvaki in the area (including Stouffville). Their teziki and other dips are delicious.
