Seven words....relocating my home pharmacy as soon as possible. Put a call into the automated refill phone service. Received a phone call in the evening letting me know that I had 2 options find a different location or choose 3 separate pills for the same dose (this is a reoccurring issue of supply upon refilling my child's medication). I offered the next closest Shoppers pharmacy but was informed that I needed to call around and then had to call the Roblin pharmacy back. I waited for 18 MINUTES on hold to ask if this other pharmacy had the correct dose. The pharmacist said yes, we have it here. I was happy and relieved, but soon after that, I was followed by utter disappointment with Roblin. Where I called them back to let them know that they can transfer the medication/prescription to the closest pharmacy. Roblin told me that I needed to call that pharmacy back to tell them that they needed to call Roblin in order to transfer the prescription over. I'm not going to wait on hold for another 20 minutes... This whole process was extremely convoluted where I was basically a middleman between these 2 pharmacies. A complete waste of my limited family evening time. I never want to go through this again... and frankly never leave reviews but felt extremely upset about this convoluted situation. Not the 1st time that we have had a negative experience with this pharmacy where I was understanding and passive. Initially, when we were setting up our dual benefits, that was a nightmare that didn't get resolved for weeks. They couldn't figure out why it didn't work on their end and then left it at that. Asked us to speak to our provider more than once, and we were paying out of pocket until we asked to speak to the owner to look into this! The pharmacy techs/pharmacists seem to pass the buck on to other companies and CUSTOMERS to figure things out. Completely unimpressed will be looking to transfer...
Read moreI called the Shoppers Canada Post Office at 6670 Roblin Blvd Unit 14 earlier today to inquire about their closing time. The woman on the phone informed me that they close at 5:00 PM, advising me to arrive on time. Shoppers is 5 minutes away from me so I still had plenty of time to arrive and give the employee time before they close. My return was a tiny package (of $50 Halloween coloured contacts, that arrived too late for me to wear!!) that had to be sent back to China. When I got there, the employee told me, “You should’ve done this online,” “You know there’s customs you should’ve filled out?).. and complained that the system showed everything in Chinese, even though she proceeded with the return… She repeatedly expressed her frustration, saying things like, “Ugh, we close soon” and “Ugh, we close in 10 minutes,” and rolled her eyes which I found quite shocking, especially since we were still within the hours of operation. As i stood there awkwardly, feeling so un-welcomed, I still said thank you so much i appreciate it!! and she didn’t even reply to me and walked away. I felt her behavior was extremely rude, and it was disappointing to witness an older woman treating another woman—especially someone younger—so poorly. After leaving the post office, I asked Shopper’s FOH for her name, and they told me it was Vallery. It was the older lady with grey maybe brownish hair... I hope my return goes through… I couldn’t help but feel hurt by her attitude as I was driving back home. I’ve decided never to return to that Post Office, as it’s disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and...
Read moreThis pharmacy is the worst. My husband has a prescription that he receives regularly, and both his insurance and health card are registered in their system. However, whenever I go to pick up his medication, the same employee who always seems to be on the phone always tells me that this insurance is "travel insurance" and cannot be used. What is she talking about? That’s just the name of the insurance, but it is fully valid. Since my husband has been receiving his medication here regularly, I asked her to update their records properly.
This has happened before, and now it’s happening again. She keeps coming up with ridiculous reasons for not processing the insurance. In the end, She claimed that the insurance system suddenly "failed," so she couldn’t process it. But then, when my husband goes, it suddenly works again?
Is she discriminating against me because I’m Asian? At first, I thought it was just a coincidence, but since this keeps happening, it's clear that she is unwilling to do her job properly. The person on the phone at the pharmacy seems to have no interest in even entering the insurance number into their system. I have no intention of using this...
