Love this rustic little gem of a shelter! Set your expectations at glamping (it’s not a hotel!) and you’ll appreciate: the breathtaking views from your cozy and comfortable bed, sufficiently-stocked kitchen, and family-style dining table; the horses, rabbits, ducks, and dogs running around the open fields surrounding the property; the ample breakfasts of eggs, toast, cheese, granola, oatmeal, sweet bread, coffee, tea, and orange juice prepared by friendly staff; and the access to (pricey) hotel restaurants in walking distance if you don’t want to cook your own dinner. (De Agustini Bar at Rio Serrano Hotel and Spa gour.media/de-agostini-bar is a fun, tasty, casual pick as long as you don’t mind guests in their bathrobes walking through to the spa.) Not only the best value in the Rio Serrano valley, but a sense of being at home within the spectacular surroundings and magnificent night sky instead of insulated in a hotel.

The views from this modest refugio in the remote Rio Serrano area were indescribably beautiful. Oscar (efficient, friendly and helpful) made the stay even more memorable.

Overpriced for what you get.

We stayed at one of the little cabins (not the main house). The standard of the place was very basic, the toilets were smelling, there was only basic accessories in the kitchen. If you want it warm, you make your own fire. Hairdryers are not provided because they consume too much energy. All is acceptable if it wasn’t about the price: for 300 usd a night you can really expect them to invest a bit more in their apartments.

We can not say much about the main house, people there seemed happy, enjoyed the views (which were much better there than back where we stayed). Ultimately you pay for the location but if you can, just stay at one of the other resorts (even for a...

We LOVED our stay! We spent 3 nights here and wish we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable bed, nice strong shower, lovely people. It's right outside the entrance to Torres Del Paine so each day we would drive in and hike, very convenient. You can either bring food to cook or eat at the few resorts that are near by- we ate at Pampa resort most nights cause we knew we'd be too tired to cook and it was super tasty. And so many friendly dogs, horses around. It's...
