It is currently the second highest tower in China after the Shanghai Tower, and the fifth highest tower in the world. Canton Tower is 600 meters high, The Canton Tower is a comprehensive sightseeing building as well as a renowned tourist attraction with the multi-functions of sightseeing, adventure, food & beverage, wedding, MICE, 4D cinema, sci-tech, education and shopping. For food and drinks, there is a TWIST Mediterranean Buffet Revolving Restaurant, located in the 106th floor. And on the 105th floor is the LUTECE French Revolving Restaurant. SKY BAR is located on the 107th floor serving coffee and dessert. It is a good place to enjoy the grand scenery of Guangzhou day and night. CHOPSTIX, located on the basement 1 floor of Canton Tower, catering an authentic selection of Cantonese dishes. COLOUR CANTON is on the 103rd floor with exquisite Chinese fine dining and high-end private rooms with exceptional atmosphere. Canton Tower also offer wedding service and integrates the high-end customized wedding service with the incomparable city panoramic view. MICE stands for Multi Function International Convention and Exhibition. Canton Tower can provide various venues for hosting product launch events, exhibitions, car show, business meetings, celebration functions and social activities and international events. I visited Canton Tower for the second time on 14 April 2025, and it was just as breathtaking as my first visit back in November 2023. This landmark is truly one of the most iconic and beautiful places in Guangzhou, China-a must-visit spot for tourists and photography lovers.

The tower offers incredible views of the city, especially in the evening when the lights come on. The vibrant atmosphere around the tower, with the Pearl River flowing nearby, adds even more charm to the experience. Whether you’re going up to the observation deck or just enjoying the scenic surroundings, it’s always worth the trip.

I captured some amazing photos during my visit-the design, lighting, and skyline views are simply unforgettable. Canton Tower remains one of my favorite places in Guangzhou, and I highly recommend visiting it more than once if you get the chance.

The Guangzhou Canton Tower observation deck offers stunning panoramic views of the cityscape, especially at night.

The modern design and glass floor add to the experience. We also got to click our pictures with our phone at the Kodak kiosk. Overall it’s worth all the ticket price. The lift ride to the 108th floor is also amazing.

As for the cruise ride, it depends on the specific cruise, but many offer a relaxing journey along the Pearl River with illuminated views of the city's skyline. Consider checking recent reviews for updated experiences. If you plan to go on the cruise, I would suggest to go on the roof deck and enjoy the skyscrapers on the edge of the pearl river.
