ARTHUR HOTEL CANTON TOWER GUANGZHOU — Hotel in Guangzhou City

It's about 3 minutes walk to Guangzhou metro lines 3 and 8 and there are 2 small local eateries along the way to the metro. Recommend trying these to get a feel of eating local. There is a mall nearby which you can use pass through the subway to access. The hotel is next to a school so there could be traffic congestion when children are sent off/picked up. Not a major thing during my stay. The hotel is generous with its beverages; 4 x 500ml bottles and 1 x 1.5l bottle of still water provided and minibar is complementary. These are replenished daily. In the lobby iced bottled tea is also provided. This is probably due to the hot weather. I came in mid July when the weather is hot. The room also has a guest umbrella for guests. It was such a shame that I could only stay one night because I visited for transit before going to another country. The location and interior of the hotel were all satisfactory. Still, the best thing was the staff. All the staff were kind friendly. Especially, thank you Xiao Lu and Xiao Yuan. I had to pay for the taxi I took, but I had a problem with the payment, but they handled it very professionally and flexibly. They helped me with the payment first on my behalf.
