Ham Tin Beach is a beautiful remote beach with white fine sand and crystal clear water that worth a visit! Located on the far eastern side of Sai Kung East Country Park, you can either choose to hike there from Sai Wan Pavilion, roughly 5km & takes around 1.5 hours, or take a speed boat ride, roughly 40mins, around HK$160 per head per single trip from Sai King Pier. The beach is not managed by the government therefore there are no lifeguards or shower facilities. Dogs allowed. There are 2 restaurants conveniently located on the beach (open till 11pm during summer time) where you can order food, drinks, get a hot shower (with a charge) or rent the basic camping gears.
