Price is generally 20% more expensive than Fusion, especially for produce. Clean and spacious store. Poor customer services, compare to Fusion, some Chinese staffs don't attempt to speak English. Trouble making staffs, after my purchase, I unboxed some items, couldn't find a trash bin nearby (unlike Fusion), left it on the counter, hoping the staffs would help to trash the goods, instead, the staffs instructed me to trash it somewhere else outside the supermarket and I couldn't see the bin. I had lots of things with me. I thought they should be willing to help. I handed the plastic box to the staff and the staff refused to take it. Forcing me to find a bin somewhere. Read moreI was about to buy a pack of pork with a special offer price, however, while I was paying at the till, the cashier decided herself the price was wrong and rejected to sell to me at the price labelled. They took the pack of meat back to the butcher, put another label of a higher price on it and asked do I still want it. No, if the customers saw the price tag, you sell it at that price. Read moreIt's a high(er) end supermarket. Don't expect to find real bargain stuffs. But overall, comparing to Fusion, at the other end of Discovery Bay, you can find higher quality items. The inclusion of a deli style hot food counters, and a very small part of Ikea (yes, the furniture store, they belongs to the same conglomerate) makes it a more interesting visit.
Staffs are friendly. But they should install more self checkout stations to ease peak...
