Uncle Russ Coffee — Restaurant in Islands District

As the local coffe joint Uncle Russ is somewhat like an institution. Coffe quality is average but ok. A few things personal opinion bug me. Like the plaster coming off the ceiling the general hygiene as tables get wipe occasionally only with a wet cloth instead a quality general purpose cleaner ecocertified hopefully sustainability certified even better as DB portraits itself as an ecofriendly resort. Staff is friendly but waiting times...

Very bad experience. Not patience at all. When we asked them to reheat the food, they are very reluctant to do it. The staffs always like to talk with each other with Philipines language. Not Chinese friendly staffs. They seem to treat Westerner more friendly. Hardly believe that there are still so strange staffs to be bias toward...

I’ve been here a couple times while staying at the hotel next door. Excellent coffee and great service. I didn’t see exactly what I wanted on the menu, so I just told them a Large hot mocha with double espresso and that’s exactly what I got....
