I can't recommend Rarotonga Turtle Tours enough. I went along with my family for a tour, and everything from start to end was on point with the team. Thanks to Kato, Kali, Tiki & Scholar, their teamwork was immaculate šŸ‘ŒšŸ½ Their genuine care and love for others shows through the way they respect, nurture and ensure everyone is comfortable in every way on the journey of their tour. They are not there for the money, they are here to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience and gets an opportunity to encounter the turtles individually. They also make sure safety is paramount and that everything/everyone in the water is taken care of (including ensuring all rules and safety measure are taken care of from beginning to end - they will not take anyone out if it is deemed unsafe, bad weather or without the correct resources. When we went out, I noticed a tour guide from a different company had no flippers on and they also didn't have enough floating devices or paddle boards incase anyone gets tired and needs a rest). Having those resources available no matter how confident you are, was definitely something to show they make sure safety is top! šŸ‘ŒšŸ½ I went on a Turtle Tour with another company in Feb, and I got nowhere near as good of an experience as I did this time round. And I had to swim out to the passage from start to end... no floating devices or paddleboards. I was tired before even reaching the passage. With Rarotonga Turtle Tours, I got the full experience and without feeling tired at all. The team are all fit, experienced and communicate very well between eachother to make sure everyone is safe and that everyone gets the beat possible encounter on the day. They captured our special moments and how Beautiful our photos were! We got our photos instantly and it was easy to recieve them aswell. I took my mum and my nephew along who weren't confident swimmers, and both of them left the water feeling confident and having had the best experience ever! My niece also came and is a very confident swimmer. She wanted to dive under and explore freely, which they allowed her to do so, with the kindest reminders of making sure she was close by and always came back to the floating devices when needed. The team cared, and looked after us like no other. I would do this tour with Rarotonga Turtle Tours over and over again in a heartbeat! The price was definitely well worth it! And I wouldn't go with any other company but theirs! Once again Maitaki Ma'ata to Kato, Kali & the team... and a huge, Ata wai wolo!

The guide was very informative with the safty side aswell as the environmental information for the reef and animals there. He was very helpful with helping as see the eagle rays witch was the main thing we wanted to see but could not of asked for a better experience. The rays, turtles and even the reef fish were just so beautiful. He also helped my wife with a light panic attack as she had not been snorkeling before and has been sometime since her last swim in the sea

This has been the absolute highlight of our time in Raro. We past other turtle tours of 20 plus people and really appreciated the fact that Kato keeps his tours to a maximum of 6x people which meant that the 3x guides we had between us 6x were really able to deliver us a massive amount of personal attention. It felt like a private tour. We had our own guide for our family of three. This is what you need at a place like this to be able to get the maximum benefit and see the most. We saw the most beautiful spotted Rays too and Kato took heaps and heaps of photos for us and downloaded them to our phones immediately after the tour all included. Priceless images. Their warmth and genuine passion blew us away. They are just really really cool people. We loved their in-depth knowledge, professionalism, abundant experience and the fact that they are big on safety. We had two young children on the tour and we felt super comfortable and secure with this team. I honestly could not think of any way they could have improved. You guys have a winning formulae- keep it small and personable. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful memory. Being in the service industry and quite critical- I score these guys 150/100.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a Rarotonga turtle tour with the fantastic guide, Kato. From the start, his friendly demeanor really stood out and made us feel welcome and comfortable. It was clear that Kato was experienced with the local area and his extensive knowledge of the reef and the turtles added depth to the tour, making it both educational and enjoyable. What sets this tour apart is the emphasis on a personalized experience with small groups. It is a small family run business by locals. This creates a more intimate setting, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of swimming with turtles. Kato's photography skills were truly incredible, capturing us swimming right next to, underneath and above the turtles. Our friends have been amazed seeing our pictures! We felt safe in the water, and were instructed how to swim and snorkel to dive and swim with the turtles. This added an adventurous touch to the experience, making it unforgettable. Overall, I highly recommend this turtle tour with Kato for anyone seeking a blend of adventure, knowledge, and a genuine connection with these incredible creatures. Thank you, Kato, for an amazing and...
