DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I would love to give this place five stars but their rude customer service and shiesty sales tactics earned them one star. My family and I rented 3 ATVs for the tour and we have never rode ATVs before. Make sure if you go, you all know how to ride one, because they give you no hints or tricks on how to drive one; only how to use the gas, change gears and their hand signals. My fiance was not comfortable driving one herself, so she rode with me and my cousin was on another quad. It was a nice experience of riding on the streets and some off- roading to see a water fall and an overlook to the volcano. Like I had mentioned before, they do not tell you anything on how to drive an ATV, so on one of the down hills, my cousin hit a rock and sadly flipped the ATV on to its side and onto my cousins leg. He unfortunately injured his leg very badly and the only thing that was wrong with the ATV was that the break handle broke off along with the mirror, on the left side of the ATV. The guides got my cousin another ATV and we continued the tour to completion. When we got back to the start point, we expected we had to pay for the brake handle and mirror, you know maybe $40 bucks. They told us that my cousin supposedly broke the entire right side (remember when I said he flipped onto its left?) of the ATV, its suspension, the entire ATV steering handle, the brake handle and mirror. Which is just not true by any means. They charged us over $170 for some made up broken parts. They were unwilling to talk it out or lower the price. They just charged us with a smile. They then proceeded to ask us when they hell we were leaving because they wanted to tack on more experiences and adventures for more freaking money. With all that being said. DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY OR TIME....
Read moreHey guys, I paid you $10/person extra for the photographer. Can you please send us the pictures? It’s not worth the money if you never send the shots.
I know it probably takes time to sort through all the photos and get them to the right people. But it’s been a full week now. There were 6 of us, and although we’re a real handsome family, if you haven’t gotten around to that part yet, I can’t imagine you still remember what we look like.
Would also recommend cutting out the part of the 2-hr ATV tour where we get off the ATVs to spend 20 minutes hanging out in the gift shop disguised as an indigenous cultural education experience. Most of your visitors have seen rain sticks and bongos before. They’re cool, they’re just very different than riding ATVs which is what that money we gave you was for. And even if we did want to buy something, we had 90 minutes of ATV riding left. Where would we even put it? That part was a waste of time for everybody, including the Maleku people making the stuff. Nobody on our 20 person tour bought anything.
I’m glad we did this, so I can’t give it one star. But not gonna lie, looking at reviews of other ATV tours nearby made me jealous. And you owe me 60 bucks for the pictures. And I tipped you! Haha...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time on our ATV trip. Initially we booked the 2 hour tour, not knowing that they wouldn't be taking us to the volcano. They told us we could join the 3 hour tour and so we did that, which we appreciate them for accommodating! The reason for the 1 star deduction is because the first 2 hours are a bit underwhelming. We did love learning about the Maleku people but it wasn't really a village, it could've been shorter. We barely had any ATV time. The 2 hour tour should have more ATV time and a little more excitement. That 3rd hour was the best part of the tour, we drove down the street to an ATV/horse trail that took us up to the lava rocks at the base of the volcano. I would recommend using this place but only for the...
