Wunderschöne Gegend und auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Die Beschreibung um dorthin zu finden ist sehr gut. Man kommt an einen großen Parkplatz wo die Autos und die Busse geparkt werden. Bis zum Hotel selbst kommt man nur zu Fuß, etwa 500m, oder mit der Pferdekutsche für 1,5€ pro Person. Die wird von einem sehr mürrisch, dauer maulendem und keifenden Pferdekutscher gefahren, der sein Pferd auch dauernd anschreit und sehr grob mit ihm umgeht.

Ist man erst einmal bei dem Hotel kann man bis zu einem Aussichtspunkt vor laufen. Toiletten, eine Hundebar mit Wasser und ein Souvenirladen sowie ein Restaurant und ein Kaffee. Wer gut zu Fuß ist und dem steigen und klettern nichts ausmacht kann sich auf den zwei stunden Weg zur Basteibrücke aufmachen. Man muss auch bedenken das man diesen Weg auch wieder zurück gehen muss. Also es ist nur was für fitte Leute mit gutem Schuhwerk. Das Elbsandsteingebirge ist wunderschön und auf jeden fall einen Abstecher und Einen Besuch wert.
