Nail Lounge Chodov - I know it is not the shopping center review and it is actually a review about a shop located in the mall. I don't recommend Nail Lounge Chodov. It's expensive and low quality service. The employees do a "fast job" that can be useful if you are in a hurry. They have a negative ambiance as employees talk in their mother tong ( I assume it was Vietnamese language.). The employees focus more on what the other employees are doing or talking than on their on job or client.
They can't remove cuticle very well on the natural nails; the manicurist got blood out of my finger when she was removing he cuticle from one of my finger nails because she was too busy talking to her peers and not focusing on her job. The pedicurist left nail polish on my toes because she also was not paying attention to her job as she was busy talking non-stop in her native language, and once again it was NOT Czech language.
The the shop host/receptionist apologized for my negative experience and tried to fix it right before I was ready to pay, but did not offer any compensation or discount. Even if they offered me a discount, I would never come back because when I pay for a service, especially when it is expensive, I expect it to be very good. This mediocre service is not good...
Read moreWestfield Chodov is an average shopping center in Prague that contains small stores, and sometimes limited out of season selections. The majority of retailers communicate only in Czech and can't speak English or other world language, Some store clerks seem annoyed when custumers walk into the stores and try to buy products, as they have to come to the cash register to process the purchase. Most retails do not permit customers in 20 to 15 min before official closing times. All stores close down by 2100. All customers must pay the Czech government mandated 21% sales tax. Store clerks are not trained in issuing tax return forms for Czech non-citizens. When the store clerks actually provide the tax return forms, they usually enter incorect information or miss entering some parts. Thus, the Czech government customs agents do not accept these tax return forms and do not provide the tax returns, and require the customer to return to the store and obtain new correctly filled forms. However, this is not possible became these tax return forms are presented just before one's departure from the Czech Republic at the Prague's airport, and the customer is forced to waive his rights to...
Read moreThere is Sofas with 230V plugs and two USB charging ports in every corner at every level randomly at the hallway between the stores all around the mall and they doesn't work these relax + phone etc. charging sofas are off the power all the time. I'm visiting this mall frequently and tested functionality of these charging sofas and like less than half of the charging stations at this large mall doesn't work. If u plan on visiting this mall Westfield Chodov be prepared to bring a portable power bank with you. Otherwise it's amazing concept for customers comfort and to make them spend a long time over here but unfortunately charging sofas doesn't work 😐 I already tested throughout many days at least 70-80% percent of these charging sofas and almost all of them doesn't work. 🙏 Great huge shopping mall but this is really a bad experience with this problem...
