“Google doesn’t let me give them less. I did this buggy tour on 15-12-24, and I can say it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had. First, we arrived on time for the 2:30 excursion, but we didn’t leave until 4:30. Very unpunctual, especially when they demand that you arrive on time.
The service and attention were terrible. I must highlight something dangerous: the buggies don’t work. I had to switch buggies three times. In one of them, it completely shut down, which scared me. The staff treated us like we were crazy, insisting the buggies were fine. Then, in that same buggy, I lost the brakes and crashed into one of the vehicles in front because I had no brakes. My companion also had a bad experience—his buggy kept tilting to one side, so he couldn’t even enjoy the ride. The buggies are poorly maintained and extremely dangerous.
At the cave, they only give you a few minutes. Before entering, they make you smell some “potion” 😂😂😂😂, which I found absolutely ridiculous. Then, they give you a “mamajuana” to taste, but it’s just strong wine, and a watery chocolate served in a tiny cup. The cave is beautiful but very deep. They give you floaters, but no guide goes in with you in case something happens. I went in with a friend, and when my arms got tired, we were completely alone. There was no one there to help us.
They are very unpunctual. The excursion started at 4:30 and ended at 7 PM. We spent only a few minutes at the beach because it was getting dark. Even though the route is long, stopping every 3 minutes makes it not worth it. Plus, with the buggies in such bad condition, you’re more scared than enjoying the experience.
If I had to highlight something from this buggy experience, it would be the following: Unpunctual: 2:30 start time, but we left at 4:30. Bad guides. Long rides that make you anxious instead of excited. Poorly maintained buggies. The cave experience is ridiculous; they only focus on selling. Overpriced items and snacks. They treat you like you’re crazy—if you tell them something is wrong, they insist everything is fine. The worst buggy experience I’ve ever had.”**

The 15min Cave Looks Amazing and the Fresh Water is a Experience that i dont regret.
Bad Things:
I bought an Additional Buggy for 2X but since i was not an Hotel Guest they didnt care and gave me a Family Buggy so i didnt Recieve nothing for the Extra Payment.
On youre way you see a lot of Poor Haitian Children begging for Money and you cant enjoy even the View. Thats very Poor and they shouldnt to that. Not Ok!!
Also the Culture showing its just more to Sell you then Really showing you something.
Very Very Poor, and i did this after 13 Years and still the same.
So if someone from the Excursion sees this, try to get the Haitians not to disturb, and make the Excursion a Rich experience with the Cave and the Dancing abrigoians, and the Coffee and Chocolate theme.
Make a Rich Experience and threat everybody the same.

Read moreMy experience was very much a disappointment. I seen reviews saying this is a tourist trap but I like to be a judge for myself and this is just that. From start to finish you’re going to overpriced gift shops with made up prices. No one takes no for an answer. They will continuously hustle you and beg until you give in. I asked the price of a little cheap necklace nomore than 15-20 dollars. I was told it was $45 but he would sell it for $35 lol a complete joke. The entire tour you have locals begging for money and food. The groups are so big that you can’t really ride the buggy or ATV because you’re in a line bumper to bumper. Our session started at 2pm. We didn’t arrive back to our hotel until 8:45pm a complete waste of our entire day. I would highly recommend booking with...
