This is the restaurant you pass when you enter the Macao beach. after strolling and spending 1-2 hours on the beach, we were starving and you won’t see many options except this. I sat on their front row park-type bench, facing the beach. They brought the menu and we asked for local fish. they sell fish by the pound as well.

It was 2 slices of fried fish, with salad, rice and fries. Fish was fresh- I would give it to them. it was a decent meal that cost us $18. (while reading reviews on TA, I think, I got a decent deal)

Service: tourist spot, it took them 40 minutes to bring our order. so that was kind of frustrating as we were hungry Price: a little bit overpriced, also they don’t accept cards. I paid in cash so no tax...

Location: 5/5, right on the beach, not crowded.

I would suggest checking out the menu first and...

Don’t listen to the reviews that claim this is expensive. The food is amazing and the price is negotiable. Plus you get shade at a gorgeous beach that isn’t crowded. Sebastian and the others make this unforgettable. I had the fried fish (if you don’t want the head left on you need to tell them!) and my family the shrimp. They bring out enormous platters with that, plantains, rice and beans that will blow you mind. On top of that they use filtered water for their drinks so you can safely sip the best pina colada you will ever have! At the end of the meal, we simply went up to Sebastian and presented him with what we could pay and...

The location was nice and the food was decent. We had ordered two pina coladas, a medium size whole snapper (for two) and it came with some fries/tostones and an iceberg lettuce salad. My issue is with the fact that we had asked the waiter how much the meal would cost and he blew it off and just told us to relax like it wasnt going to be a big deal. When we asked again, he said that he needed to "calculate it", but never disclosed the weight of the fish or anything. When the bill finally comes, it is $96. I wasnt even surprised because I saw the guy screwing me over from the second we sat...

This place was amazing!!! The menu was up front with US prices by the pound. We ordered the chillo (red snapper) lambi (conch) and tostones with rice. The fish was some of the best I’ve ever had sitting on the beach enjoying the sunset. When the bill came he said the fish was 1.5 pounds which looked correct to me. In the Punta Cana tourists get over charged regularly but here he was honest. When I was adding up the total in RD pesos he even took the time to explain how much each item was to me which matched the menu. I would highly recommend this place!!
