This summer, I attended a youth exchange program and decided to purchase souvenirs and things to showcase Egyptian culture so I headed to khan el Khalili.

By pure coincidence, this was the second shop I went to. Didn’t buy anything from the first because prices were extortionate. However, here, I found everything I needed and more for a very low price without the need for bargaining and haggling.

Our man Sayed here, sells carpets for 150 EGP (3 USD), and the most amazing scarfs also for 150 EGP.

Take it from me, the carpets and scarfs were loved by all the foreigners (Greeks, Americans, French, British, Norwegian and more).

In summary, forget all the pyramids souvenir scammers and other booths and save yourself the headache and bit of cash and head to ‘Tienda Sin Dolor De Cabeza’.

If something is not available, he will find it for you - not at the Egyptian price, but the price another vendor would buy it for.

To make things better, he accepts credit card payment, payments in EGP, EUR and USD.

Such a fantastic place to buy souvenirs where you can feel free of that haggle that can be so exhausting! They speak in English and Spanish so you are good and everybody is very kind! Mi novio y yo localizamos esta tienda desde España, mientras planificábamos nuestro viaje a Egipto buscando buenos lugares donde comprar recuerdos y no pudimos salir más contentos. Tienda con precios FIJOS y mejor que JUSTOS (más barato que otros sitios regateando), lo que te ahorra muchísimo tiempo a la hora de seguir haciendo compras cuando tienes poco tiempo porque se te va el guía. Cuando llegamos, un chico de otra tienda estaba intentando que una clienta se fuera de la tienda malmetiendo. En algún comentario habíamos leído que lo hacen porque no les gusta que la "Tienda sin dolor de cabeza" tenga tanta clientela y nos dio mucha rabia verlo en directo. El dueño es muy amable, habla y entiende fenomenal el español y encima nos ayudó a llegar a otra tienda que estábamos buscando. Le recomendamos a gente de nuestro grupo que fueran a su tienda y también nos dijeron que salieron muy contentos y que les había recomendado dónde comprar alguna cosilla que no tenía en su tienda (ej.: no tiene cartuchos pero les recomendó otro sitio). Por mi parte, lo recomiendo 100% por sus precios y su amabilidad. Espero que le vaya muy bien...
