Gara Mart is one of the growing retail shopping destinations in Addis Ababa, serving as a convenient stop for groceries, household goods, and everyday essentials. The store is well-organized, with shelves neatly arranged, making it easy to find products without too much hassle.
One of its strengths is the variety it offers—fresh produce, packaged foods, cleaning supplies, and imported items are all available under one roof. Compared to smaller neighborhood shops, the prices are fairly reasonable, though some imported goods may be slightly higher.
The staff are generally welcoming and helpful, especially at the checkout counters, where service is usually quick. The mart also maintains a clean and orderly environment, which makes the shopping experience more enjoyable.

Read moreIt is a very good supermarket with a good stock and neatly kept but the staffs are very unprofessional and irresponsible. The security personnel ask me to hand over my stuff on my hand so i left it with them.i forgot to collect it when i check out and i came back two days later but nothing was there. They make me come back for four days claiming the security person who placed it isn't around, finally the lady came but my stuffs weren't found. Blaming one another it took around 2 weeks ,so i gave up.even if i ask for a manager, one guy came and told me i shouldn't of hand it over so it became my mistake. An item could lost in such situations but my disappointment arises from the way they handled the situation. I expected a sincere apology not a mistreatment while i am the one who is a victim. For this reason i will never go back there. I am sorry, i couldn't find the staffs...

It has more items that no other grocery stores have, and the staff are very helpful, accommodating, and nice. The stocks are not closed to expiration, with most items are goof quality, and the prices are pretty much the same as other stores. As a foreigner living in Addis, although Lebu is far from my place, this is where I go to buy groceries.
Only 4 stars now because I want to see more European and Asian...
