Gelateria Ice Dream Addis Ababa — Local services in Addis Ababa

I had a very bad experience the first time I went there. Ice cream is a luxury... Their service however is NOT. We paid first and when it was our turn to choose the flavors, I was told I CANNOT have more than one flavor in a scoop. When I asked why, I was told it was a house rule I just have to accept... Then when I asked to taste before i pick one, I was told I can only taste one flavor if I paid for one scoop. When I asked what if I don't like what I tasted, I was told it is a house rule... I just have to pick another flavor without tasting it and that's it. It was not just the "house rule" that bothered me but when I told the server it was not a nice rule they have and they should change it, she was angry at me and she was unwilling to even look at me or talk to me. It's an ice cream place... I went there to relax not to be frowned at and treated this way. My opinion, they have zero respect for their customers... The rules themselves assume customers go there to abuse the place or something... The ice cream was not bad but I will never go there again and I do NOT...

The flavor is actually not bad....it is the consistently bad service that makes me hate the flovors..and the while experience. When you try to choose the ice cream you want, you can't help but wonder if they are even willing to listen. There are too many "no"s. "You cannot have another spoon if you drop one, " . The cleaner actually came to my son and told him to pick up the spoon he dropped. (and with a frowning face). This is the last time my family comea to ice dream...as it proved to be ice...

This is my first time to come here. But for the whole family,it was a second time. Their service is very poor. The employees are reluctant to take orders and are inattentive. No smiles at all. Looks like they are forced to work there. My daughter had an ice cream with a cone and she wanted to have a spoon.
